the paint on my 2018 JL rubicon has been blistering since 2019. Within 3 months of buying the jeep, I noticed it and Jeep took care of it. They told me at the time this was an ongoing problem with this year and was seeing ALOT of jeeps to repair. The blistering happened again in 2020 and 2022, which they fixed it. It is happening again and I am out of the 5 year corrosion protection and they do not want to accept responsibility that they manufactured a faulty product.

Has anyone had any luck in getting Jeep to fix an ongoing issue or have your started a lemon law suit.

It is a known problem and based on all the comments I have read, you are out of luck. Way too late to file lemon law suit.

Candidly you screwed up. You knew there was an ongoing problem, which was never resolved under warranty despite three attempts. Either dump it ASAP if it’s not too bad or plan to drive it for ever with cosmetic cancer. I too have seen this start to pop up a couple of hinges…mine is a 2020. I suspect this is merely the beginning of an unresolvable problem.

They repainted my doors right before the 5 year warranty ran out. Then when the corrosion came back three months after the warranty expired, they approved replacing all four doors. The final repair was delayed several months waiting for doors and I was 8 months out of warranty by the time the doors got replaced.

At least they treated you fairly after the corrosion returned almost immediately. At 7 or 8 years of age I suspect a lot of Wranglers are going to look rotted. It’s too bad…I sold my SIL my 2015 Rubicon…it still looks perfect.

The point I'm trying to make is that the "they" that treated me fairly was Jeep corporate, my dealer won't do anything without getting approval and reimbursement. If your dealer is not cooperating, reach to @JeepCares, they helped me expedite parts and scheduling.
