2024 4XE Cluster & Shifter Lights on while charging !

On my 2024 4XE, the Cluster, Shifter & 4XE Mode Switches are only staying On when I’m charging.

When I disconnect the charging cable, they all go off after a few minutes.

They also turn off once the battery is fully charged.

I’m charging on 110 Volts…. I don’t like to have then staying on during 11 hours each day for nothing !

What about you guys ? Any solutions ?

My ‘22 4Xe Rubi shuts off these lights after I shut the doors in just a few minutes. If I open the door, they come on, but they go back off after I shut the door.

I know that doesn’t give you an answer, but it’s a data point. Mine doesn’t act that way. It would bother me, too, if mine stayed on.

That happened to me once when I was sitting in the 4xe while it was plugged in charging Level 2, not sure why, I don't think I did anything.

I opened the door and closed it, nothing, think I cycled the start/stop, and it went off.

I've sat in it a few of times when it was charging and it didn't do that.

Try unlocking and locking it, not sure.

I tried it and they remained On… Thanks for the idea… it was worth the try !

How close is the key fob? I wonder if it is detecting it. Mine will come on when I touch the handle with the fob in my pocket. If not, and its far enough away, the lights come on when I open the door and then go off after a few minutes once I close it. In order to check the state of charge, if I don't have the fob in my pocket, I have to open the door so it will wake up.

Doesn't seem right for it to stay on all the time though.

Check my thread, it's the Jeep app and the fix is to disconnect the 12 volt battery for ~15 minutes to reset it.

I disconnected the battery for more than an hour…. It did not fix the issue… It’s the same !

Does that alone fix the issue with the app; or does that only work after removing the vehicle from the app, signing out, etc.?

I would be greatly appreciated if someone (or more) with a 2024 4XE, could confirm if their Cluster, Shifter & 4XE Mode Switches are staying On while charging.

2024 Rubicon 4xe - mine does it as well...i actually like it - i can see from my living room window at night - looks ok to me

I have a 2024 Rubicon 4XE just received a few weeks ago and mine does not light up when charging. I wonder if it has to do with how close your key fob is? My key is kept pretty far away from the Jeep. I will have to go test it closer.

What position do you have the headlight switch set to?
Maybe you need to play with that?
(I don't have a 4xe)

My keys are in a faraday box, they should not reach my Jeep.
