I am currently the Vice President of Lone Star Jeep Club. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions regarding our club.
Here's some background info on LSJC:
Lone Star Jeep Club is a family oriented, DFW based club, made up entirely of Jeep owners. LSJC was established in August 1997. The club was originally started by a few local Jeep owners and has grown over the years to be one of the largest clubs in Texas. The Lone Star Jeep Club holds events throughout the year and in different parts of the Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arkansas area; this allows all of our members to attend events in their area.
We have our forum over at https://boards.lsjc.org/ and we also have a Facebook group setup at https://www.facebook.com/groups/LoneStarJeepClub/.
We put on many events throughout the year, from wheeling events, to 101/beginner training events, to meetups, to Summer party, Christmas party, and we even have a day where we get to set up out at the State Fair of Texas in the car corral. We are the only Jeep club in Texas that gets to do this!
We have a Member Meeting every 2nd Thursday @ 7pm in Lewisville at Huffines Jeep Dodge Ram. Here we discuss club business, upcoming events, etc. Although this is a members meeting it is also open to the public. So even if you are not currently a member of LSJC please drop in and meet some of our members and find out a little more about LSJC.
Following the meeting, we usually hang around and talk "Jeep stuff" over at the Service Dept. parking lot.

I’d love to as well! It’s a jog up there, but not too far. I work in FW, so maybe I just head there after. Good to know there are some clubs around here!

Benefits of becoming a paid LSJC Member include:
1. Full access to all sections of the forum
2. Attend member only events (i.e. Summer Party, State Fair of Texas Car Corral, LSJC Christmas Party and parades)
3. Allowed to submit entries to and vote on the Jeep of the Month contest. With winners getting a chance to win a paid years membership.
4. Club and member driven organized runs to various off-road parks
5. Purchase raffle tickets at the monthly Member's Meeting, events and any special Member's Only raffles
6. Purchase LSJC merchandise
7. Sponsor discounts
8. Eligible to hold elected positions
9. Voting rights (one (1) vote per membership)
10. New paid members will receive a membership card, sticker and welcome letter
11. Opportunity to be a member of one of the largest Jeep only clubs in Texas

Make sure you stop by Dallas Offroad as well. They are a great group of guys that do a lot for the Jeep community as well as the community in general up there. Jeff is the owner over there and will take good care of you guys if you need help with modifications.
