I pre-ordered the Oracle flush-mounts in Nov. 2021, and received then as part of the inaugural company shipments in Jan. 2022. To date, they've functioned flawlessly.

My eyes aren't closed to the problems reported by fellow owners, though. While it is true that discussion forums tend to magnify issues both good and bad, I also know that our individual experiences are earned.

The foregoing is a long way of saying that, should the Oracles ever fail, I'll either revert to the OEM lights, or perhaps give the previously linked Metalcloak lights a try. Every aftermarket part or accessory that I install gets one chance at bat. Just one. :)

Thank you for the feedback. I think I'll give the Oracle a chance. But, like you said, only one chance. Apparently, you're able to add extended warranties to the Oracle tail lights. I called Oracle and they mentioned this to me on the phone.

I don't recall that option being available in the Nov. '21 pre-order announcement (which means I'm now high and dry). So, yes, take advantage of it if you're able. ?

I tend to give OEM just one time at bat... others, especially if like the form factor get as many chances as I can tolerate ;)

I'm glad you are enjoying the Flush Mount... I love mine.

one thing i dont like about the Oracle is the beam pattern of the reverse lights are narrow so we shall see how that compares too

That's a good point. While I've never said that the Reverse lighting is anything less than very bright, the breadth of the beam is focused a bit more narrowly than I'd prefer. I've not let that bother me, though.

Those Metalcloak tail lights are interesting. It's almost like they incorporate the lens from a CJ tail light....

You'll undoubtedly be needing JSCAN use with this install. Hope you read the caveats mentioned my Metacloak in their ad,

I looking forward to seeing some decent pics of this offering installed... and of course, 1st hand feedback in regard to this offering.

yeah, says youll have to wire in the resistor to the provided harness with halogen lights. I didnt have to change any settings with the oracle tails but if needed i have the Tazer mini to adjust settings.
