What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Installed about 90% of a full belly skid system. I couldn't do all of it because they neglected to include the brackets for the fuel tank skid. I'd like to kick the engineer that was responsible for faster location right in the balls though.

Side note - with some of what my wife calls “magic eraser” that white “scratch” came right out.

But to answer the question on touch up paint, I just bought a little thing of touch up paint on Quadratec's website. Just make sure you look at the paint code on the label inside the drivers door, on the 'B' post. (Wave from a fellow Iowan)

Top Lift Pro dude. They are amazing and your top will never get damaged. I would be hesitant to run a strap around the plastic like that.

So I had the panels off and a thunderstorm hit at 3am. I went rushing from my gf’s house to put them back on but there was already a lot of Water. I dried most of them and it looks like it everything ok.

I also took the top off and scratched a little of the edges off the tailgate.

lol you and me both, except I've done that maybe a dozen times already since I've had my JL. You should see my tailgate and my horrible attempts at spot-patching the paint job. Also chipped a little bit of the hardtop off at some point - don't know how that happened.

But hey, it's life - cars are meant to take a beating, and the way I look at it, jeeps especially are gonna get dinged up and scratched and have all sorts of battle scars and stories to tell. My wife and I already have some good laughs, mostly dealing with getting this darn hard top on and off.

I had repair my drain plug after it loosened up and mangled after hanging it up on a rock. We need a diff slider vendors please.

It’s black as I tried silicone, then flex seal first. None of that worked.

I switched the top and bottom as the bulky one was all I could find yesterday and still hit trails.
