You're onto KZ...2-3 more weeks, unless you get lucky.

i think that's preferable to finding your sticker but losing your jeep

Im about to 2k miles on mine and love everything about it. I have the 6 speed and the best mpg I've gotten has been around 17-18 mpg but I do get on it every now and then so Im averaging 15-16 mpg all around. Get used to the fan being loud, I got with the dealer and the service guy said they have noticed the same thing on most if not all JLs. No steering lock-up or cruise control issues nor electrical. Other than that its a Jeep Wrangler not a Bentley, hardtop is a bit loud since I expected it to be a bit more quiet since I all my previous Jeeps have been soft tops. Rides super nice yet feels beefy. One thing I do recommend is check the air Pressure like Cliff suggested, I had 43 on all tires after I read his post and got them to 37 like its recoomended (on the JLRs) now and you can feel the improvement on handling. You guys are gonna love how they ride once you get them, its worth the wait believe me! Orgasmic almost! lol

OOPS! I did have a leak on the driver"s side when I passed it thru the pressure wash and it was fixed at the dealer, they said the seal was a bit off and no more leaks.
Dumb question - do you have an iPhone? If so, did you install any UConnect apps? I installed both “UConnect” and “Sirius/XM Guardian UConnect.” They both work and do the same thing. Not sure which I should keep, and which I should delete.

A few more pics for comparison to the JK. JK is on 4.5" lift and 35's Jk has 12"s clearance at the pumpkins.

Wow that’s some BS right there. So back when the new Miata came out folks were posting pics of the GT, MSRP around 32 grand, marked up to 48k in California. Before tax title and fees. So.... 50ish k for a frickin Miata.
Interestingly, I ordered and bought my 2006 Miata GT for $200 under MSRP through fleet sales at Long Beach Mazda. I ordered it so I could get exactly what I wanted and it took about six months to get the car delivered from Japan.

If you remember, the Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky were brand new on the market. I really wanted one of those but dealers were marking them up ~$10k over MSRP. I went to Mazda and got a better deal and a much larger trunk. :)

First post on the forum guys. Future JLR owner...just working on pricing. I have gotten caught up (and read most of them) with the 521 pages :whew: of posts on this topic. Let me say I hate that you guys have had to wait so long on the purchase. Obviously alot of blame to go around, and while I don't even own one yet, I'm excited for the ones that are starting to see theirs roll in.

For those that have ordered in the last month or so (if there are any lurking), are you seeing movement on your order? I gather that the PST, Headliner, and 2.0 seems to be the stallers....and was wondering of any of those that have ordered recently with those options, are you getting progress?

I want to put an order in, but I cringe at the thought of having to wait until Nov./Dec. to see it delivered if FCA is still trying to get caught up from months old orders.
Wow! You did a lot of reading!!! I have a headliner, waiting now 21 days.
What I would encourage you to do is to order what you want, don’t leave things out second guessing which will delay delivery. It seems things are moving better now, as production picked up. Having said that, there are some still waiting a long time, as you have read. My guess is you will get yours faster. I personally don’t regret ordering the headliner.

Thats a good idea since i was debating about getting mine wrapped since its not the color I originally wanted. I have a black JLR and its a pain on the ass to keep it clean and the scuffs and marks are very visible as I have had a few black cars before, but the film protection may work as well. Have you gotten a quote/price on that yet?
No quote yet but I will report here once I have the numbers. Based on what I have seen, expecting 800-1200 for the hood and a few small spots. I think full wraps go for anywhere from 3-5k depending on where you live. My opinion, no need for a full wrap, or at least did not need it for Miata.

The other part of this is getting a Ceramic coat, and that’s going to run me around 1300 for a 5 year coat. Had this done on my Miata and have been very impressed with it. 3 years in and never waxed. I have a guy do a simple wash or I do the 2 bucket method and it still looks like a high detail wax job with only half hour work.

Als, dirt and crap does not stick to the coat. You will still get dirt, but it comes off real easy

:surprised:

That's not very Jeep like. :cwl:
Ha! Sure it is, I think :). Go hit some trails and get down and dirty, then when you feel like cleaning just rinse it off.

Now that won’t make it shine like new, but on my current ride I often just rinse it at car wash and it takes much of the dirt and grime off. Takes less than 5 minutes.
