Sorry to those I may have offended. And thanks to those who understand.
Yes I am very happy for you !! It hit me the wrong way. My dealer sold his
1 Dealer stock in 1 day. So after thinking about the quick build over night
I really do believe it was not a build. It most likely a canceled order or
one for dealer stock. Yes he did get VERY lucky they had what he ordered.
You ENJOY your JL and again I am sorry I did not think this out before
I posted. We will see more of these quick builds as Jeep is now on
a better track of getting them out.

131 days for me today. I seriously doubt I'll have it this month, so July 1st will be 5 months waiting for me. What's urking me the most (besides FCA's lack of concern) is that I NEED this vehicle for my business. Sure, I'll be taking fun trips in it as well, but I've already missed several good photo shoots because my little Fiat 500 won't go off-road! Lol!

To those who are getting their Jeeps inside 2 months, we ARE happy for you! That's the way it SHOULD be. But if you start reading this thread from the beginning you will see that it was started because the original poster was wondering when his Jeep was going to be built. That's why it kinda pisses us off when we read someone's post who only ordered a few weeks ago. Don't take it personally; just take some time to get the true vibe of this thread by going back and reading from the beginning.

reading 505 pages to "catch up"? i wouldn't wish that hell upon anyone. that could quite possibly be worse than actually waiting 6 months for your jeep. i'll suggest that those of you/us who are getting pissed off, when something happens as we expect it to happen, are the ones with the problem, not the 1 posters.... just my 2 cents... how about they are ok to take it personally, and those of us getting pissed off learn to deal with our anger issues instead?

Just found out there are already a few recalls on the 2018 wrangler , one of particular interest is the cruise control. The jeep needs a software update, or the cruise control can stay engaged even after pressing brake pedal or off button , possibly even accelerate. If you were one of the lucky ones to receive your jeep early check with your dealer, also affects other jeep/ram models.

Some that are asking about what Jeep is offering to those with such long
wait it is true . There are 2 plans. I chose the Appearance Plan as I will
not be doing much off the road. I received the paperwork from Mopar
in yesterdays mail. It is for what they state. Your Dealer has been notified.
It is for 3 Years. You can transfer this for $50.00 if you sell before the
3 Years end.

The house is a one bedroom man cave.. oh, you mean the JL. No, no interior shots. It has black leather though ..

Yes, I could get the JL through that narrow gate at the place in Rhode Island. Have to be very careful though, as it is a narrow opeing for sure.. 8-)

How the JL rides. A tad rougher ride then my 2014 2dr. Sahara. It wandered alot until I reduced the tire air pressure to 34 psi and telescoped the steering wheel. Since doing that, no wandering issues.. Rides real nice.... a pleasure... Yes, the JL feels differently then the 2dr Sahara, by design, and also because the Rubicon has the bigger tires. Anyway, as I said, the 2dr JL Rubi is a pleasure to drive. Creature comforts are great, Infotainment Center is terrific. IF you are a personal that likes computers/gadgets the JL is lets say a dream come true. Yes, I like my 2dr. Rubi JL.

Should mention I have had many Wrangler's over the years. This one takes the cake!

I think I will opt for the wheels and tires.

How do you get that offer? Does the dealer offer it or do you have to apply for it?

The offer was Emailed to me from Nicole. Most likely because after it
was built it sat in storage for 26 days. During that time I called twice
a day and Emailed twice a week. I was a pain in the butt to Jeep.
1 of first 5 built and 60 miles from dealer and there it sat.
That was 4-1/2 months going to 5 waiting.

Finally picked her up. Certified most smiles per gallon! Ordered 1/20, delivered 6/6. Thanks for all the positive vibes these past few months. Hope everyone gets their jeep soon.
