I need to play catch up!

I decided to replace the fog lights with Baja Designs Squadron Pro LEDs. These have exceeded my expectations.

Tazer JL was delivered yesterday. Tentative Install today if time allows.

Picked up a Yeti Bucket to fill in as a tool box for the JL. Need to get a lid, utility belt and figure out a way to tie it down.

More to come!

How long did it take for you to receive your JTOP shade? I’ve been waiting a solid month!
Three weeks. You might want to call/msg them to see what's up.

Today we went Completely NAKED for the first time, Installed Side Mirrors to make us Legal, and installed Ohio Diesel Parts - Rear Seat Recline Kit to make the passengers a little more comfortable

IMG_1370.webp
Which mirrors? Are they usable at all or just to be legal?
Do those mirrors whistle when you are driving from the wind?
These look just like the cheapo mirrors I bought from Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078NSY7R1/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They work well. I had them on for a week last week and drove 60+ regularly. Once adjusted they were pretty solid- no movement, a little vibration, but usable. Mine do have a little whistle at 40 MPH+. I'm going to buy some plastic spacers to put between the nuts and the door hinge because I see the start of some marking on the paint on the edge. For what they are I'd recommend them. (They definitely aren't CMM mirrors!)

Thanks. I am torn between getting the cheapest thing I can find until I can save up for the CMM mirrors, or spend a little more for the Lange Coyote mirrors and call it a day.

Still waiting on a winch but got this today. I wanted the Factor 55 but I’m cheap, anyone using one already? Seems pretty beefy but what do I know.

Depends. Factor55s big selling point is their stuff is machined out of one solid piece of aluminum and then they show you actual videos of testing them until they break. I’m not sure how smittybilt makes theirs.

^^just read up on the smittybilt version. Looks to be machined out or billet aluminum as well. Probably not much difference between the two except for where it’s made. I would assume smittybilt made in China versus Factor55 made in USA. That in itself can make a huge price difference.

I say you’re good to go and saved some money.

Ordered my Titanium JTop on May 8th and it just shipped on June 7th. It will be here Monday per the tracking. If you email them, they will let you know where you order is in the line up and when it expects to ship.

If I may chime in, Ive had this and posted it waaaayy back in this thread. The base is best designed to accept the wider based, after market antennas such as Antenna X. I love it it. It matches the feel and look of the jeep. It looks like the radio knobs. {I have Antenna X installed with mine as well}.
Nice! Thank you Dyno! I have the 13” AntennaX and have been considering this base for a bit. I think you just sold me on it with this information. You’re a rockstar.

I just ordered these. Today there is an extra 7% off coupon. And good suggestion for the plastic spacers!

I used a hairdryer to heat up the area to make the glue soft, then put a towel wrapped block and pried up against it with a screwdriver... came off clean and easy

I just ordered the Lange mirrors. I saw in FB that someone installed and it scratched their paint. I also noticed some type of protective tape under the mount on their website (look closely at the mount in the pic). Keep that in mind if you go with those. They also said it shipped the next day even though it was pre order.
