Cryptostickers sent me window sticker today. I did not see my name anywhere on it, but the packaging was all there. That, and the fact that it is built, are the most important things. Now, we will see how long it takes to make it down here.

As I get ready to go to the MA State IDPA Championship Match tonight I realize how lucky I am to have my Jeep for the trip! For those of you still waiting I will be thinking of you and hoping your wait will soon be over. Stay positive and remember soon it will all be behind you! Stay busy, don't dwell on the waiting and the time will go by quicker.

Finally they are catching up with early orders. I am not going to rest

Feb 21st...still waiting in "D". 106 days and counting. Have been in contact with Jeep Information Center (866 number...Jeff sucks...by the way...), My Brand Mentor (Jeff...yeah...still sucks...), and Jeep Customer Care (877 number) but can't get an answer when my JL will go to "D1"...much less be built. The only answer I can get from Jeff is that I will go to D1.......soon....SERIOUSLY??!!??!!

Waiting. Ordered 2/5, went to D1 5/31, nothing after. Build is below in signature.

So you're D1 about a week behind me. I went from D1 (5/23) directly to KZ (6/5). I'll bet you anything yours is done and ready to ship by next week. Hang in there!

Morning everyone! Looks to me like two door production is on fire! Ok, maybe I should not use the word fire with Jeep :p But looking at Crypto there are 22 window stickers that have popped up in the last 24 hours! Oldest order 12/21, newest 5/8.

After escalating on the care line I finally got a bit of info on delays for 2DR:

Our resources indicate your vehicle was ordered with the Premium Sunrider Soft Top. Two-Door Wranglers ordered with this top were slated to begin production in mid-May. Please note, vehicles ordered in December, 2017 will take priority and be built first, followed by vehicles ordered in January - then February and so on.

In another conversation, they told me 2DR builds started on May 7th.

Mine was ordered Apr 6 and still in D.

So as soon as possible I ordered a red JL Rubicon . Later a brand spankin new black JLU Rubicon appeared at the local dealer so I rushed over to park my cute little butt in it only to find I just did not fit and could not get comfortable in those leather seats. Sadly I let the sales staff know I would not be buying.

Now fast forward to yesterday when they called to say "it" had arrived and I was welcome to come check it out. I again rushed down, interested in seeing what I had ordered, again parked my cute little butt in the cloth seats and surprise surprise I liked it.

The test drive proved that it rides nicer than my JKU, is a bit quieter, feels a bit more comfortable, and the 8 speed auto trans is killer, however it did feel a bit twitchy at freeway speeds. I got a laugh out of the "stop/start" feature the first time it did it's thing as that was my first time...LOL! Bottom line Wrangler JLs are improved however I was not impressed enough to buy!
