Why does the selection of soft tops for the 2 door JL suck so bad? There are very few options out there and I haven't seen a tan one new at all since I bought my 2021. You would think that the aftermarket would have had time to offer some cool soft tops as they've had since 2018 to come up with designs.... just sayin'

The buyers just aren't there to make money at it. I planned to buy a soft top for summer, but I don't like any of them, not even the factory one. They need to bring zippers back. They need tan and white, black soft tops are tough to keep clean, especially if you live in a coastal area with a lot of birds. The only way I would buy one now is a super cheap take off that I can use in safari mode.

I really like they way the factory (Bestop) soft top looks when it's up and properly tightened. Other than that, it's a pain the ass and looks like a mess when you drop it. The hardtop is easy enough to take on and off, that I will likely never get a soft top. But, then again, it can go weeks or even months without any real rain around here, I park it in a barn at night and we have 2 other vehicles to drive if the top is off and the weather is crappy.

Nice. But I have noticed they are ALWAYS out of stock.
Yep, I'm seeing that now as well. I bought mine from Quadratec last spring, I'm not sure if they never had many in stock or what but it sure does look like even across the MOPAR parts wholesalers they've dried up. Maybe Benny @AllMoparParts.com has a lead?

Yeah, if I had the money I'd swap out my black soft-top for a tan one. But then I'd also do tan Katzkin leather seat covers and bronze wheels as well... :)

The problem is there are none to buy even if you have the money…

They're the OE for the standard Jeep top, sooo...
I am well aware. I have one. But if you price them, the OEM ones cost twice as much as tops offered directly by Bestop. They have the Trektop but it doesn't fully retract.
