Just checked with Jeep Chat. My Jeep was built over the weekend and is in inspection.

Ordered 1/24, Red Sport, 6 Speed, A/C, anti slip, regular Soft Top. Dealer says they are going to “Hot Sheet” it once it is released.

kudos to you as well! I waited until April 16th, one week after 2 door production started to order and really hoping its built by the end of July. If not i may cancel and go with a 2019.

Yea auto.

Is yours scheduled yet? I feel like July is a good bet - there aren't many 2 doors, so you'd have to imagine they catch up soon.

nope, still "D"......as i said hoping to take delivery before the end of July, I was hoping by end of June when i ordered but not sure that will happen either.

Happy that you and others are having good news though, happy jeepers make me happy and I still have my '09 2 door JK so at least I'm still driving a Jeep while i wait

May 28: Production Week given from Jeep Customer Care email
May 30: Build complete + Build Sheet
June 1: Sticker Found + on railcar
June 4: Off railcar + local to be truck delivered (dealer said within the week)
TBD: Delivery to dealer (probably Thurs-Mon)

Its actually going to TriCity in Eden, NC. Great deal and experience from their team and I figured a 9 hr drive down was better for me to take then a transport truck.

If I could've, I would've ordered to pick it up at the factory and put the transport in my own hands.

The woman that was helping me was definitely trying-I don't think it was her-whatever system they are using seems really f-ed up.

I called today to check on my order and they gave me a hard time for calling two days in a row. I have been very patient with them to date but this rubbed me the wrong way. I explained to her that I have been waiting of 1/4 of a year for a Jeep promised to be delivered in 6-8 weeks, and I call daily because I get a different answer every time I call. I went from a firm delivery date to no delivery date in the last few days...

I ordered a 2 Door Rubicon on 1/18. I was notified I was in E Status just days ago. This morning I received an email from my dealer saying the vehicle was ready to ship-just waiting on a truck because there’s apparently a bottle neck at transport. Hopefully, it ships out soon instead of catching fire in Jeep storage.

It would seem that that statement about the "your call is being recorded for quality/training purposes." might be bogus.
Do any of the places you call ever show any improvement - even after years and millions of callers?

i for one, believe that the jeep chat experience improved. i've used it a lot, and at first it was complete lack of information and guess work to even establish who you were. need address, vin, order date, etc. now when i use Jeep chat, they don't ask for anything. when i ask them if they need vin etc, they say sure, it'll help if you give me last 8, or if you can verify your address.

Month or two ago, they either didn't have access to a database that showed i was a repeat or didn't know how to use it. now, over several different chatters, it's quite evident to me that they do. and their access to my status has improved and they've provided more useful information. they are still limited in what they can see or say.

I've found the 866 number consistently good from the start.
