What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

I bought 2 boxes of 36” so I would have 4. 2 for the soft top wrap and 2 to secure it to the roll bar.

I installed Hot Head Headliners with the Sound Assasin Strips. I also installed my electric hoist in the attic above the garage.

Really clean and professional looking hoist, great job! Do you have a picture of hoist and hardware setup used in the attic? I’m looking at constructing the same type setup for when I eventually get my Mojito lol.

What did I do today? I cracked my windshield Saturday... only 835 miles on it. Is that a new record? I did get some off-roading in to test out the sway bad disconnects and lockers, everything worked great. No good pictures though, was only out for about an hour with no other people.

that sucks about the windshield! Supposedly next year there will be a gorilla glass option. Where in Michigan did you take it? I’m in Macomb too.

Today I became determined to make my standard soft top last as long as possible so I treated it to some vinyl protectant. I plan to do this regularly if I don't get lazy.

I then performed a half-second install of a seat belt extender: "click". I put some soft loop-side Velcro on the outside to avoid scratching the center console. I always wear my seat belt but am really annoyed at the reminder chime, even when it's a couple of seconds. It's also easier to put the seat belt on since I don't have to reach down as much so the benefit is a 2-fer.

They turned out really good! Do you have the part numbers for them? I tried searching the forums but couldn’t find the post with it.

These are the part numbers i used. You are going to find on the internet plenty of jeep dealerships with some variations to their website. I was skeptical to use them but i did and it was all legit. I bought it from this site which is colonial jeep in MA and it was great. They were the cheapeast all around and since i live in new york i got it faster bc of proximity. The website i used was www.buymoparpartsnow.com. The mopar site has a msrp for each item at $392 ans they had it for $256. I actually looked for other parts and they were one of the cheapest anyway. For this item you have to buy the right and the left.

What’s the best way to mount the drakes extinguisher mount to the roll bar in the rear? Drill holes? Hose clamps? Giant zip ties?

not today, but a couple days ago. 1st graphic didn't come out perfect, but it's on. more difficult than i thought, had to stand up through the roof to put it on. next one goes on the hood.
