Uh . . . . . can’t any of you at least read the posts to see if you can beat Bill before you post your order date?

Oh . . . . and while I am being grumpy, you don’t need to add that now that you have your Jeep, it was totally worth it. I also find it a little ironic that that this comes from owners that were on the verge of getting a Restraining Order slapped on them by their dealer and FCA.
If someone were to read all the posts here to see who ordered what and when, their Jeep would surely be in before they read the last post!

Just curious....
Who holds the record so far of the longest wait from day ordered to day delivered at dealership? (Day picked up doesn't count! You may have waited a few extra days to bring her home.) :time::)
I want to know. I am on day 1 and the only thing I hear is "tic tock MF. You about done?" LOL

My 2 dr. JL with all aluminum utility trailer attached. Set-up with my new 10" adjustable drop hitch. Anyway, towed well.. tracked great with about 900# of items properly loaded (60%/40%) in the trailer.

Pic shows front end of the JL slightly elevated (normal stance) which is normal even without a loaded trailer attached to it.

Another day without my Jeep is another day I suffer from Jeep depression...
I understand. After 2 Sports and a 2003 Rubi I have been Jeepless for several years, I could finally take it no longer, the constant drives through the dealer lot, etc. Then I order mine and the waiting was terrible, and the false reports of D1 from Jeep phone line. It wears you out. But trust me hang in there, you will be happy again! Most of us here have been where you are, and we are here for you! The light at the end of the tunnel is the headlights of your new and awesome JL Wrangler!!

Well, I ended up actually taking delivery after being promised within half an hour of indicating I was walking it would be delivered over Memorial day weekend, which it wasn't being no great surprise but a continuing disappointment, but did finally arrive the following (i.e. this past) Wednesday.

Overall I'm pleased, with a few exceptions:
- for some odd reason it arrived absent a window sticker?
- the left side of the rear bumper mates with the fender flare with a 33% (1/4") wider gap than the right side (which may not seem like a lot, but is fairly visually obvious if comparing the two, and should not occur using modern manufacturing techniques.
- the passenger side door sill has a minor indentation, as if some large idiot stepped on it with the heal of their shoe.
- the removable roof panels at best remain 1/8" out of alignment with respect to each other's edges (but does not leak, and is fairly quite, as best I can tell).

And lastly having nothing to do with arrival condition, and merely in my opinion with respect to its 6-speed manual; it's smooth, but should likely not have been paired with less than 3.73 differential gearing, and the top 5 transmission gears should likely be geared 10% lower, as 6th at least in the Sport is basically useless.

So again, overall I'm very pleased despite what appears to be haphazard manufacturing/delivery logistics, and a few relatively minor quality issues.

Now my wife wants her own.

I don't doubt that would be a more relaxing way to spend the time. :like:

You do love fishing. I missed the Jeeps. :(

Were they out of frame?

Another Punk’n Rubi in the wild. Transaction was mostly seamless and my apprehension about this dealer was thankfully mostly unwarranted. Positive vibes to all still waiting.

Good to see what I'm waiting for out in the wild though. Gives me hope and a smile.

Thank you!
