sorry to hear that. mine were put on right out of the ups truck, without a problem. i even test fit them first & held them in place by rolling up the windows. to date they are firmly attached with "0" cracks or flexing.Installed these this morning and 3 out of 4 has cracked upon rolling up the windows. Now I have cracked plastic in the doors.
Could you post a picture of the front windows for me please? Also mines didn't come with Wade branding on it. Only on the box.sorry to hear that. mine were put on right out of the ups truck, without a problem. i even test fit them first & held them in place by rolling up the windows. to date they are firmly attached with "0" cracks or flexing.

mine didn't come in a packaged "box". they were wrapped in a foam type film, inside of the shipping box. (bulk pack style) nothing was "wade" except the little red sticker on each one.Hmm. I guess I'll shell out some money for the weathertech ones since I've had good luck with those. Hopefully I can at least get a refund for these.
More details on that hoist please! Looks super clean - was it cheap? I was looking at the Harken and that's not cheap, lol.I have had a busy 2 days. Yesterday, I received my nerf bars finally. I had them on order for over 2 weeks, same issue as others, from Extreme Terrain, where they said they were available, but after my order, it said back ordered. Wasn’t pleased to say the least.
Then today, the wife and I installed my hardtop hoist. I of course had to take the top off after I got the hoist installed. I have a few kinks to work out yet, but once I have them fixed, should be great! I got the idea from the Harken hoist, but I pieced everything together myself.

That’s what I figured. What steps did you say you have/put on? The Sahara ones? The sahara's enormous side steps will keep the rocks off. I haven't heard a single rock since putting on my rails, and they are significantly thinner.
Weathertech ones aren't available yet. I keep checking because I want them too.Hmm. I guess I'll shell out some money for the weathertech ones since I've had good luck with those. Hopefully I can at least get a refund for these.

Well, in actuality, I got the idea from the Harken hoist. But being the person that I am, I didn’t want to pay the price for the Harken either. Having the mechanical aptitude that I do and having rigging experience, I built the system myself. I piece mealed pulleys, anchors, 550 paracord, made some straps from webbing and made some hooks. I may have $60-80 into the whole thing. I do have a few kinks to work out yet, but hope to have it fine tuned. I also integrated my own brake into the system, a little bit different from the Harken, it’s called a Prusik knot, that way, if the rope were to slip out of my hand, the whole thing doesn’t drop to the floor. Also, where the Harken was a 7:1 mechanical advantage, mine is only a 4:1, so a little more effort with my system.More details on that hoist please! Looks super clean - was it cheap?
