This is the fox guarding the chicken coop. Really, you want to politely walk away and have nothing to do with this dealership. In your first post you asked if this was a rip-off, I think the answer is Yes. And it will get worse.

That's what I said and they told me it was mandatory. If it's not I'll be having them remove that but I got to look into it if its mandatory or not

18 days in JB. Ive probably said this 4 times already but I literally cant believe how useless Jeep is. Last week I call them wrt my JB status, they said it warrants escalation so I get my 5th case number... great.

Today I call back after they promised to contact me in a day, which they didnt. The lady on the phone says they contact back in 5 days... Where do these people get their information from. How is it possible that multiple people working at the same place give different information on the same question.

Anyways she says its been escalated so they will contact me when something changes. So I ask her does "escalation" mean they actually do something about the problem or does it mean they will let me know when the problem has fixed itself. No she says they will let me know when my status changes.

Its totally ridiculous, an absolute joke. I wish there was some way to actually give some complaint that they will care about

Ha! Fred, it was a typical sales pitch. I had a “coupon” for 5000$. After test driving, and the usual 1+ hr of bs, finally answered my original question: it was on vehicles at dealership.
They had a jlu sport, which I didn’t drive. The 2 door rubicon jk was ok. Dash exactly like my Jeep Liberty. What the heck? And puny radio. No contest! (No offense to those with jk’s)
So no worry. I’ll wait.

You will be VERY HAPPY. I am really impressed with the JL!

What is theft guard and key replacement? Gosh, no discount? I agree with the other coments. I would shop around for a decent discount. I don’t think I got a fantastic deal, but got a 2300$ discount for my Rubi order. Close but not fully 5%.

"Dealer service fee" is total nonsense.

I just ordered my 2018 2 door Rubicon today. Granite crystal gray, premium soft top, manual transmission, leather seats, infotainment system, safety group, led lighting, tow group. After taxes and fees 50k. Did I get ripped off? Still excited to get it even though it looks like it will be a while

So, I learned Friday that my JL went KZ as of last Tuesday. I'm in the early stages of KZ...I don't think it has left Toledo yet .

Anyway, the headliner install took 36 days - 4/17/2018 to 5/22/2018. I truly hope yours are done sooner.

Holy smokes! That's so looonnnggggg. At least I have an idea of the time frame now though.

I really like that color. I actually was going to order it, but they did not allow for body colored fenders and body colored hardtop when I ordered. So, Firecracker Red became my choice.

Lydia, your enthusiasm is contagious! After 168 days, maybe I’ll see my Granite Crystal Rubicon this week. Stopping by my dealer this morning with insurance info, and borrowing a pick up loaner until JL arrives! Supposedly offloaded railcar yesterday in NJ, now the 80 miles journey East to Southold NY......12/13/17 order date!

Man, I don't want to be a downer, but I am buying my jeep for far less than that. I urge you to try another dealership. I'm not selling they have to sell it at cost, but they need to take something off. You're going to be in for a long frustrating wait, might as well get $$$ off the price for your inconvenience. That dealership is trying to hit a home run off of you. Just go at least one other place with the same specs and see if you can get a better deal. It won't take that long and it can't hurt.
