So the other day I was driving my Daughter to Swim practice in a Socal down pour which we never really have. We were on the 101 and hydro planed twice once doing 15 mph on a curve entrance other 65 changing lanes. Didn't realize MT tires lack that much but a fool I am for not looking at siping.

Swapped out the Nitto Trail Grapplers 285x75x17 for Toyo RT Trails 35x12.5r17 and night and day difference. It handles in curves, we can hear eachother talk, and they grip. These things are not timid, they got beef and lugs, at 66# on an E rated 3ply sidewall 50k warranty and 45 day 500 mile no regret money back! This RT is headed for a good spot. I could of ran 37s for her (she took over my Sons rig) but .75" from sway bar we decided 35 at 34.6. Headed to Big Sur trail Wednesday to test um. ?

A lot of that is most likely condensation also. How much have you lost from the crankcase?
It seemed like it was mostly water with a bit of oil in there. I’ll be due for an oil change shortly and will check but it’s amazing that all of that would’ve went into the intake

Also finally swapped out the control board on my rock slide engineering side steps. The passenger side wouldn’t open fully or sometimes at all if the car was off. The folks at RSE sent me a new control board that did the trick. Had to remove the entire step to replace it though.

They also sent me some rubber bump stops so now my driver side step doesn’t slam loudly when it closes back up.

Lastly, I rearranged some of my wiring. I installed a kill switch (sent by RSE free of charge) so I don’t have to pull the fuse everytime to reset them anymore.

I also installed a RF controller to my winch and rock lights and air compressor. This allows me to program my two extra garage openers on my visor to send power to the winch and rock lights and air compressor pretty nifty

That’s a cool idea. Would love to add a couple of accessories to the unused visor switches. Will have to give this some thought. Since my Aux switches are used up, I was planning on adding a Voswitch on the Door assist handle. Care to provide additional details?

I have the voswitch jl 400 you linked. Mine is all used up, it’s great.

I also have the Lasfit Aux button that in using for heated seats on all four corners of the Jeep.

I use one of my garage openers for my house.

The center one for my winch/rock lights together
The last garage opener for the air compressor

I’m using this device to convert my garage openers to Aux buttons. It’s a bit finicky but generally works. Sometimes I have to press it twice.

The water wasn’t from the engine. It happens from the heating and cooling of the can being in the engine bay.

What I am saying is the can is creating the moisture. From it heating and cooling, it’s condensation created because the can is there.
