Remove antenna before taking the Jeep through an auto carwash?

Short answer, yes. I got a short, stubby antenna for the Jeep and don’t have to worry about that anymore.

You should also remove your doors and top, too! ?

Which type? I use the no touch so never an issue. I don't like those massive brushes and such scraping along my Jeep.

Yeah I just use the no touch especially in winter just to knock the road grime off. I use the old school type in spring to use the high pressure to clean off the bottom etc. Those manual type wash places are getting scarce these days though.

I never removed my antenna going through car washes, never had any issues.

Do you have the 7" or the 13"?

Just got a car wash subscription yesterday - went through the car wash and the OEM antenna was bouncing around like crazy. I was thinking about taking it off for the car wash until this thread appeared.
