Extremely high pitch noise

I went to take delivery of my 2022 2.0 JLUXR and it had a very loud high pitch noise when running and also immediately after running. The technician thinks it’s the auxiliary coolant pump. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Could be. There’s likely residual run time because the turbo is water cooled.

Noise would be motor bearing related, so if a swap fixes, don’t know I’d be too concerned

Yes my Willy’s 2.0T XR is making the same noise - a tech advisor told me it is likely the auxiliary pump - makes a tuning fork super high pitch noise that is kinda nauseating if you stand near the vehicle for too long. Hoping to get it fixed in the next few weeks.

Did it ever get fixed?

Mine did and it was confirmed to be the auxiliary coolant pump. Haven’t had any issues since and I’m at 7,500 miles.
