Well I found out what "guess what" means! It's at the dealer and I pick it up tomorrow!!!! It's finally happened. I am out of the waiting club and into the driving club!

Congrats. We really are build brothers. Ordered the same day, went D1 the same day, and picked up with 24hrs of each other.

This has been a fantastic day for many of us. So very many positive Posts and many
got their Wranglers. I enjoy this happiness for all. Let's keep it up as others are
getting close and they shouldn't feel the pain we all had a few weeks back.
We are here for all of you ask your questions we will help. I really do not
think you will go through the hell we have been through. They are moving
faster now.

Keeping fingers crossed that this sudden wave means they are getting back on track. Next week or two will tell us for sure.

I think you know that date should be on an updated POC. There is the possibility that you are further along than you think. Back when Drillionaire was around, he said the norm is to go D1 three weeks in advance of building. However, looking at the tracking site, a lot of builds have D1 dates that are within 72hrs of going KZ and mine's one of them.
They build about 1k a day and I'm guessing d1 means you are typically 25k gateline number. I'm 8 days past d1 so bet I'm not the 72 hours....

The 72 hr thing appears to be a data issue. There are at least three FCA data sets on build status that I'm aware of and they are not synced. There's an order data set that is the basis of POC's, a manufacturing data set that the factory uses to schedule builds, and a delivery data set that was the basis of this site's former tracking spreadsheet and the remaining tracking site.

I first found out that I was in D1 from my dealer on April 9 when he sent me an updated POC. I was on both tracking sites at the time and continued to be shown in D. Drillionaire told me my gateline number at the time, which further confirmed D1. His info was consistent with yours in that they assign gateline numbers around 3 weeks out from the build. Regardless, I remained in D on both tracking sites until April 30. To this day, the "unnamed site" has my "D1 Status Date" as 4/30. In fact, I went "E" that date and was "KZ" by 5/2.

In summary, the tracking website has inaccurate D1 data for most customers. This comes from FCA and is not the fault of the site. If you look at the D1 status date for built orders on that site, you'll see many of them are within 72 hrs of build, which we know cannot be. Since @OldGuyNewJeep has a D1 status date on that site of 5/23, it's possible it's reflecting the same data error and has been D1 for some time and is about to enter build.

He had time to make it look that good because he wasn't spending time driving in his new jeep. Now that he has it, I predict tumbleweeds for the rest of the summer.
Moved from 6 acres to this Villa. HOA they mow trim and mulch. Oh yea snow removal too!!

:whew: :giggle: ;)

To those waiting you may have your jeep sooner than you think, and the sorrows of the wait will be gone!

Is there something in place to keep the back seat from folding back down?
Didn’t check for keeping it totally upright. I have it strapped down halfway, with just the back laying on the seat, using the attached straps & the rings in the floor. I’m guessing those same straps can be used to secure it fully upright as well.
