I’m 55 and waiting on my first Jeep.
Can’t wait for mine to get here. We ordered 7/8 and Jeep says it should be here 11/8.
Also got a manual transmission that neither kid knows how to drive so it will be truly MY car since my husband can’t drive at all right now.

Manual transmission here too! I keep telling everyone it’s my anti-theft system. ? Every salesman at every lot I went on to test drive or look at a Jeep when I was trying to figure out my build options was surprised I wanted a stick shift and tried to talk me out of it. They’re ridiculously fun to drive! ?

I got to scheduled (D1) status over the weekend. So now my dealer will have a build date for me? How accurate is that build date these days..?

Not that accurate. Mine has been "In Production" and "Being Assembled" since September 23rd!

My dealer did email me last night to say they are escalating things as they show my Jeep has been in "Final Inspection" for over 30 days. Hoping to have somoene put eyes on it @ Jeep today.....we shall see. Today marks day 130 since I ordered on 6/24!

Wow. Yes, I checked with my dealer again today and mine also in Final Inspection for at least a week but likely several as I only checked a week ago. Supposed to be delivered 11/2 but that seems far from likely. Someone posted that anything longer than 24 hours in final inspection means there is an issue they have to fix. I don't like hearing that. ?

OK. For anybody who is considering bailing on their order, I only have one thing to say: DON'T DO IT! Picked mine up the other day and it was completely worth the wait (since July 4) to get exactly what I wanted. And I know this is stupid for someone who is 50+ years old and has owned over a dozen cars (including, MBs, Porches, Hondas, Acuras and others) but getting that sticker that says "This Vehicle Was Built Especially for [Me]!" was much cooler than it should have been. Also, the 3.6L engine is fantastic. Currently also have a JK with the 3.6 at my disposal and this one is much better. Good luck to all.

I'm jealous! I was in no rush and expected delays but getting pretty bummed at this point

Yes. Your dealer should have a build/ship date. As for accuracy... it's accurate until it isn't. Mine got moved to 11/3. We'll see if it moves again...

My ship date is still listed as 10/3. 68 days at D1, Scheduled...
