I just read that another rail workers' union rejected the potential deal, increasing the risk of a strike. Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen this time.

My dealer just said mine is in "Final Inspection". Not showing any movement since I went to "E" status 17 days ago.

Anyone know what final inspection means in the grand scheme of timing in the process?

It’s built and being inspected. Body Vendor will be next if it has to go there for other things like Mopar add ons.

Pizza Tracker says my Jeep is still in production, but just got this update from my dealer:

"We just received a huge shipment, it is possible that your Wrangler is here. Give us a few hours to check."

They had previously told me I was KZLD. We'll see in a few hours, I guess.
At least you get updates from your dealer. Lol. Mine has been sitting built since 10/10. I had to call and let them know this.

Fair enough. Sorry about that for you. If it makes you feel any better, I haven't heard anything since about whether mine was part of the "huge shipment". LOL.

Mine has been in Final inspection for a few weeks.

Started "E" Status on 09/23

I’m sorry. I know we’re all getting tired of waiting, some of us longer than others. I always wish everyone the best of luck in getting theirs very soon! Please don’t get me wrong.

Anything longer than a day in "final inspection" mean they discovered an issue and it is waiting in line to get fixed. It could be anything from a broken bolt, scratch in the paint, to something more serious. Unfortunately there is zero communication as to what the problem is or how long it will take to fix it, i just sits in inspection until it is fixed. Timing I suppose depends on the backlog of vehicles to fix. My first JL in 2021 took 6 week in "final inspection" before it was finally released into KZ status.

Thanks. I did make the mistake of ordering all the little Mopar goodies (that I should have just parts counter ordered) as I've heard that can hold it up. Hoping grab handles, door off mirror kit, plastic tub, and window tie downs don't hold up my build. ?

In all fairness, I didn't check with dealer until today on the status. For all I know, it could have been in final inspection 16 days ago. Here's hoping it's a mile from the dealer lot as we speak. Hey, a guy can dream.

It will take a little longer, but shouldn’t be too bad. I had a bunch of Mopar accessories and mine was in production for 14 days
