What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Is that the same thing as the Cargo Basket? Did you have drill at all into the Jeep or does it attache without permanent modifications?

Yes it’s a great cargo basket and it bolts on to existing bolts on the the Jeep. No modifications. I installed it by my self in 30 minutes. Really great product highly recommend it. Only negative about it is for the price should’ve at least get one sticker lol.

My Brother-in-law lives nearby. Its really not bad at all though. Put a couple pieces of blue tape on the glass to keep it from opening (not sure it was needed), and then we shifted the top back a couple inches, and then grabbed it and lifted it over the tire and down onto the dolly. It really is very light, it was not a struggle by any means.

Back in the day on my TJ I did have a crappy pulley lift, and a tall garage. Current house I think a hanging hardtop would just be in the way, storing it vertical saves me space and headaches.

I used to have the family help. I became impatient, so now I use this lift and love it as I put my freedom panels on top of thof shelf and the roof below.

Mounted hoist in garage attic and some parts from Home Depot. Couple tie down straps. Lift off Jeep couple inches. Pull out then lower top onto cart. Daughter helped upright onto cart. Lol.

Why use a phone mount? I had thought about it but after I plug my phone in and use Android Auto I don't see the need. I just plug it in my center console and let it sit in there where as anything I would need is on the big screen. This is one of the features I love about the JL is the integration with your phone to keep us from being distracted drivers.

here is my DV8 rear bumper, i replaced the d rigns for some red smittybilt, and smittybilt hitch too. now i need to do the wiring on the hitch and rear bumper lights

You look like a really tall guy. Do you have problem fitting? My friend is 6'4" and the seat does not go back far enough for him.

I find that hard to believe. I'm 6'7 and I fit in my JL comfortably.

I am 6'5", I am comfortable, but the seat is reclined that my body is in line with the B-pillar. I do wish I could put the seat back 1 more notch. My head is very close/wedged in between headrest and sport bar/speaker. I need to avoid any serious accidents. Plus my right knee is against the dash, but that is true for most cars.

I'm there with you, I could use some more space but it's not enough bother me. I drive 40 miles to and from work and I can't complain. Although when sitting straight up my head does touch the sport bar.. To be honest this could be dangerous but for the most part I'm never sitting completely straight up so it's not something I worry about.

Today should be a good day, im installing the first aftermarket fog lights for the jl available. They are led's by morimoto and with the best warranty available. Is an easy plug and play. No need for resistors or bulbs, everything comes together and the housing is all designed specifically for the jl. I will install later so stay tuned!!
