If I had gone the Navy route I would have been one of those carrier dudes. Not a pilot but one of the yellow shirted guys running around on the flight deck.

Is still possible in USMC... not as a yellow shirt specifically, but a different color is possible...

When my brother was in the Navy he got the chance to take a catapult ride and landing. Was in some bigger type plane but he said you really get your ass kicked around big time.

Yeah, my first choice for MOS was Avionics technician. I got my third choice of Artillery, but its fitting as my Grandfather was also an Artilleryman in WWII.

I've always wanted a magic wand where I could put a "spell" on their vehicle. It would just start to fall apart as they drove until they were sitting on the ground in their damn seat with nothing else around. Just a trail of damn parts!

No, when I was in HS is could identify every plane in the USAF inventory by sight. Later, my military interests went to special operations forces in the US and British.
