Brent here, I'm currently in central Texas. Right now I don't have a JL but I do have a 20 Gladiator Sport S as my first Jeep. Hopefully this time next year I'll have my hands on a Rubicon diesel after my field trip this fall.

Before my Jt I pretty much had fastish vehicles. Saying that, the JT has been the most fun to drive. My first weekend in I took it down the street from to get its first pinstripes on heavily forested trails. Took it back to that area again one more time to have some fun. Stopped going after I saw how much $ a ticket would have been if we got caught. Since then I've enjoyed Hidden Falls a few times as well as the Central Texas Overland Trail

I picked it up from the dealership late May 2020, it had the retro Scrambler graphics on it at the time, unfortunately those didn't last a Texas summer. Also had a rollback with with KC lights mounted. Sitting on a MOPAR lift with 33s.

I've gone through a couple different front bumpers trying to make it mine. Right now I believe I have the look I was going for. I'll most likely get a cheap bumper to replace the current one when I do trade up, so I can mount it on the future Rubicon.

Hello All.

My 99 TJ Sahara frame finally rotted due to age (and salt). I saved money for a new frame but thought I'd stop by the local dealer to see what was available (in April). They had several in stock but I settled on a 22 Willys 2 door.

I didn't do any off-road with my TJ but I think the JL is a vehicle to do some of the local trails without having to make any mods right away.. I have taken it off-road for the first time (to the backyard to unload a grill!) and the pup was very confused.

Not sure what mods I'd like to do but I'm going to give it a little time to get used to it. What a difference compared to a 22 year old TJ. It's like driving a Cadillac!

Hello all! New to this board but not to the Jeep community. Used to own and wheel a '98 TJ Gunmetal Blue Sport and a '04 TJ Yellow AEV Hemi Rubicon before the economy crashed in '08.

FINALLY back into one...2019 JL Deep Ocean Blue Metallic Rubicon.

Hey, folks! Thanks for having me. I’m from the greater Kansas City area. I’ve owned a few JTs and JLs, but I currently have an AEV JT370 and JL Rubicon. Absolutely love my 2 door (despite the renowned rear-end thud).

Greetings all. I am in the process of making a return to a Jeep after about 35 years away. My new 2022 Willys XR Gobi is in transit, and I should have it soon. In those 35 years I've driven only two other vehicles, an F150 and an Isuzu Rodeo. My 20-year-old Rodeo just suffered a frame collapse, leading me to look for a replacement. I briefly considered a few other vehicles, but deep in my heart I knew it was time for me to return to a Wrangler.

I've been lurking for a while and figured it was time to sign up. I am looking forward to reading more of what everyone has to say, and I know I will be asking questions. While this will be my daily driver, that doesn't really mean a whole lot. My commute is about five miles round trip each day, and I work from home a few times a month. I anticipate hitting trails soon, though for the most part I envision myself taking it easy. I'm a lone wolf, so ideally, I will be in places where there are few other people around, if those places actually exist. I also want to take my grandkids (soon to be 7 and 3) to introduce them to off-roading fun. Back in the old days, most of what I did was playing in sand dunes, which I don't think will be an option where I am now. I have been looking at a couple of state recreation areas that have me pretty excited.

So yeah, I'm ready to jump in. I will be posting soon about my ordering process. What I had in mind when I first walked on to the lot is not at all what I ended up ordering.
