have you seen the EVO mfg rubicon manual disconnect? it removes the motor and adds a big hand screw to disconnect it. Pretty cool design and you can leave the links connected all the time. Evo Manual disconnect

That is good in theory, but you cannot access it if you use the front steel skid plate.
