will it have color matched fenders/hard top? Most I've seen have not.So it finally seems my build is in full swing. Just got an email from the case manager saying its been built but its pending additional option installation. Im assuming thats the hardtop headliner... Any of you built guys order that as well, how long did that process take?
I realize the delivery is probably going to take weeks but Im glad its getting somewhere, was at the end of my rope last week.
Ordered 02/01/2018
No I didnt color match anything, just the standard black. Thats why i think its the hardtop headliner (mopar) holding me backwill it have color matched fenders/hard top? Most I've seen have not.
thanks,
my order date was 1/17. Color hardtop and fenders, but no hardtop liner, smokers group nor trail management system. Been in D1 for just under 3 weeks. Good Luck!No I didnt color match anything, just the standard black. Thats why i think its the hardtop headliner (mopar) holding me back
Hey Street Water, don't tell me what to do!Let's make this a "Happy Week" (even if it's not)

My JL is on the last leg of its journey. While there is no transload involved in the delivery, the train did have a 2 day stay in Gibson IN to be broken up so the Canadian destined railcars could be handed over to CN. That occurred today and I am again in transit! From there, it's a straight shot to Winnipeg and it should arrive on the 17th.Good news/bad news on my delivery. Bad is that my ETA has slipped 9 days from 5/16-5/20 to 5/25-5/29. Good is that I'm On a Train! It was loaded yesterday afternoon in Toledo. Delivery to Winnipeg is all rail with no transloading other than going from the Winnipeg yard to the dealer and that's no more than 2 days after unloading.
I'm not telling anyone what to do. If you don't want to be happyHey Street Water, don't tell me what to do!
:cwl:That is terrific. But leave it to transport to complicate things as much as possible. It’s like flying tickets: you need 10 layovers all over the. Ountry to get from A to B.My JL is on the last leg of its journey. I've been through this part before so I know what comes next. The biggest variable is whether the unloading tracks at the delivery yard are full. If so, they have to store the railcars off site until space becomes available. That has a direct cost to the shipping contractor so they will make efforts to ensue it doesn't last long. Should fall within a 0-3 day window. Once unloaded, it takes 1-2 days to be placed on a truck for the 10 mile trip to the dealer.
Pretty much means I won't see it until next week. Since we're headed into a long weekend in Canada, next Wednesday is my best guess for the dealer to have had time to receive and prep my vehicle. Still - it's all happening!
Looks like one person yesterday stated June. An email I got this morning said 5/14. Sooooo.... who knows. We should know today or tomorrow as tracking sheets get updated, etc.In this thread a couple people said Jeep Chat told them soft tops are getting pushed back to June:

LMFAO!!!!! We have already given up on anything credible coming from Jeep Chat. I’d believe a hobo yelling at pigeons to get me a better more reliable update than Jeep ChatIn this thread a couple people said Jeep Chat told them soft tops are getting pushed back to June:

Once a second company offers a convertible offroader (not that stupid land rover) at this price point, they're going to have to step up, or lose market share. When businesses compete, consumers win. Jeep has unfortunately been the only choice in this racket for so long, that it's their way or the highway.I had been told I'd have a delivery date of 5/17 - 5/24, as of Saturday. I checked in today and was told that I don't have an estimate of delivery any more, and that it could be 8 weeks. The lack of consistency is amazing. If this were any other business, there'd be some form of recuperation for the lack of quality service provided.
