I don’t know... it’s kinda like peaking at your Christmas presents before the big day. Pretty darn exciting. Ha!
Except Christmas is always the same day every year. This gift day changes.:(

That seems to be the consensus among those lucky ones who have seen a live SG, and I love that!
I’m still undecided between SG and OB (I’ll likely go with OB if I pick a Sport S, and with SG if I go with a Rubi - the gray really makes that red dashboard pop beautifully), but have already ruled out white, black etc in favor of those two colors that keep changing depending on the light and time of day. It seems like there will never be a dull moment with SG! Enjoy, all SG owners! :like:
I struggled with the opposite. I was going between OB and SG. I liked OB in the Rubicon because of how the red letters looked. I ended up with SG Rubicon because I was driving the mango tango (orange) for 7 years and was tired of everyone knowing where I was and what I was doing!

Technically it isn't a contact, because there's no bargained for exchange. They have given you nothing.
I spoke to the general manager again and he said no.

I pretty much agree ... it would be best if you could just forget about it until you get that call from the dealer and then you remember "Oh, I did order one" ... but by looking at the forum I get to see that I am not the only one waiting, being glad for those that got theirs, enjoying the pics, etc .... still waiting to see an all color matched SG Rubi with the optional wheels .... and hoping to be the first to post a pic with that damned TRMS with a glass of jack sitting on it celebrating that I finally got it ...

My color matched SG Rubi just hit KZ this morning, so I hope to have some pics up next week. No optional wheels, sorry.

Dealer said they’d try to send me some pics, but nothing yet. It’s the first Sting Gray they have had delivered. It’s gonna be a long weekend, but I’ll be there when they open up Monday!:)

Guess my rant this morning to y’all did some good :cwl:

I’m only a fan of OB with matching hard top and only Sting-Gray with Black hard top :cwl: but that’s just me  Anyways what are your deciding factors between the Sport S & Rubicon?
I’m a first time Wrangler buyer, and I mostly drive on mountain roads and highways. No mall crawling, but also very little actual off-roading. Frankly the Sport S is probably enough for my needs, but of course the Rubicon is king of the (off)road... Either way, I’ll get a 2-door and roll the dice on the 2.0 L Turbo.
Color-wise - to stay on topic! - I like the ocean blue best without the red accents (Sport S) but I love the Rubi red dashboard paired with a sting gray exterior. I’ve always been a fan of Jeep’s gray palette (right now I have an Anvil Renegade Trailhawk). Their matte greys are distinctive without being flashy, and they never go out of style IMO.

Ha ha great point re: being a little too conspicuous in OB! Not that I have anything to hide of course...

Just joining in the convo about the red on the SG. I personally am not a fan of red.... even though my 99 TJ is red lol. But I have a sport with the grey dash. Im going to pull apart my dash here soon and vinyl wrap it in a deep teal or turquoise and accent the outside of jeep with black and teal as well.
