I know I am just ranting, and I know no one here can answer the question, but where is my damn Wrangler!??! I can understand long build queues, few parts, restricted supply lines etc. etc. What I can't understand is why my Wrangler has been sitting, fully assembled, for > 6 weeks, in Shipping, with no ETA. I can't understand why there's such a thing as "Jeep Chat" when they literally can't tell you anything about the situation (other than "ask your dealer" - really???? If my freakin' dealer knew anything do you think I'd be asking you????). I don't understand what 'opening a case' means when there's no way to get a response on a case number from Jeep Chat either??? I can't understand why no one at FCA seems to care that they have sunk $$$ into building something and can't offset it with $$$$ revenue because they can't seem to ship anything anywhere. But most of all, I can't understand how there can be no ETA!!!! For the love of all that is Holy, how can you have no idea when you are going to be able to ship something, even if there's an X week backlog, how is it you don't know that!????????!

I'm about this far from cancelling my order and walking away, I know it will hurt no one to do that, the dealer will still sell it (for more than my agreed price I am quite sure given the 3 months inflation since my order) and FCA will still get there money in the same time the would have done before, and I still won't have a damn vehicle - but sit here "powerless" to do anything accept be 'grateful' that I have a place in a queue of unknown length, to pay an unbelievably large amount of money is grinding me down.

Most of all, I am frustrated that no one in FCA seems to care or is going to have any negative consequences for their complete lack of ability to manage even the most basic of processes and I am not sure I want to be part of propping up this kind of sad excuse for industry - of course, if there were a vehicle manufacturer that didn't suck it'd be an easier choice to just give up and switch.

And yes, I know that there are others that have waited longer, and no, that doesn't make me feel any better.

Ok, rant over - sorry for that.

The shippng company got hacked, no one in the world has an ETA for their wrangler in shipping right now until they fix their systems. Just because it says "no ETA" doesn't mean it's not already in transit to your dealer. Someone on the forum had said their dealer didn't even know the jeep was at the dealership bc both them and the dealer couldm't get any ETA from Jeep. You legit orderd in January, there are hundreds if not thousands of people who ordered way before you which haven't even gone D1 yet, calm down take a break and "come back in 2-4 weeks"

I'm with you on these none existent ETA's. Mine was built and was told by dealer my Jeep was on a rail car 3-15-22, but here it is 4-27-22 and no ETA. They shipped it from 1 railyard to another and now it's hanging out for over a month.

Almost want to say they hacked themselves to just further f'up the situation and give them a new excuse on why nothing is making its headway towards destination.

I've been to Austin. Transport truck has been sitting in traffic for 6 weeks.

I thought I was reading one of my own threads for a second. Same boat and more than frustrated. Ordered 1/3, built and got word from JC that is was in "shipping" on 2/15. Original ETA of 3/7. Already sold my 2018 Sport so now I'm Jeepless. Since then, every week it gets pushed back more and more. Mine is still sitting in a lot while orders that were placed AFTER mine was actually built have already been delivered to the same dealership I ordered through. WTH???
Like you, I get if it was an option I ordered that was holding up the build. But I ordered a pretty standard Jeep with just a few options and it was built in about 6 weeks. But now has been sitting in a lot in "shipping" for longer than it was being built. Or I could get if there's truck shortage and nothing was getting shipped from Toledo to my dealership or if they were at least still working on backlogs of deliveries from 2021 orders. But nobody (Dealership, Jeep Chat, or Jeep Cares) can seem to give me an answer as to why orders from end of Feb and even March have already been delivered while mine is getting buried deeper in the lot by Jeeps coming off the line.
Let me drive to Toledo and pick it up myself and refund me the $1595 destination charge!

Was looking at keeping this JLUR for just a year or so then ordering a Grand Cherokee L or Wagoneer since that's a more practical vehicle for my family of 6 but dang, not at this rate.

Would like to say "rant over" but not likely.

If you are in Ohio too, I'd definitely be pissed off even more. I'm in Texas, so I'm sure mine is sitting next to OP's.

Jeep’s system is so screwed up right now. It’s as if 3rd graders are running the show over there. In addition to my Wrangler order that hasn’t moved since Nov, I also want to buy a new Grand Cherokee L Summit for ~$68k.

Jeep.com just updated this week showing an available High Altitude pkg on the 2022 Summit, which is what we want. We also want Midnight Sky blue which says “late availability.

I contacted my dealer to place the order & he was told by his regional rep that ordering is no longer available for 2022s. I checked with another dealer that I know & they confirmed the same thing. WTF!?

How do you update your build & price website with a vehicle and options that aren’t available.

I left a long "you gotta do better on logistics" review in my Jeep Survey. It's a MESS. I could send them an Apple Tag in an envelope to put on the front seat and get better data than they're giving out. I told them as a matter of fact - if they offered that as a service, most people would pay because your tracking and logistics management is horrible.

The day you cancel it, the Jeep will show up the next day. So cancel it.

I ordered two weeks after a family member(back in November), mine was delivered in January and theirs still hasn't been built. Both JLUR's but theirs was a XR and mine was Tuscadero. So maybe they wanted to get all the pink's out the door asap.

All valid points as far as I'm concerned. I know the system is messed up and hacked and what have you. Seems like there's no end in sight.

You think it’s bad now wait 6 months. Things are getting worse in the supply chain.
