How to track? Where's the VIN?

Hi everyone -

Might be a ridiculous question but....

I've ordered a 2019 JLUR and have a VON - but I don't have a VIN to facilitate tracking. How did everyone get their hands on their VIN? Do I have to ask dealer for it?

The dealer gives it to you. But he can’t get a vin if anything is on restriction.

I was told Jeep Chat could help track orders with a VON number, I called the 800 number and they were clueless. Maybe you have to use the chat feature and not call.

I gave my VON to Jeep chat and they were able to give me my VIN.

I tried giving them my VON and they couldn't even find that an order was placed. It varies person to person. They are probably bombarded with people calling and asking.

I got my VIN from the Dealership and told I was in D status. I'll wait a month before I call again. Checking every day does nothing to speed up the process, especially when the 2019s won't go into production until November.
