Looking at upgrading the stabilizer to something a little better. I am getting my mopar lift LCAs in a few days. I know a lot of people spend the big dollars on the fox ATS. But I think the only difference is the adjustability. I have had things to adjust on my suspension for 20 years and I never adjusted anything once I set it. So last few things I have done I don’t get adjustable stuff.

thoughts?

My thoughts were the same, leading up to my choosing the TS over the ATS. It's set a little firmer than the middle setting of the adjustable version, which is where most owners tend to set and leave them anyways. I personally didn't see the need to spend more and deal with the added bulk for an adjuster ID never touch.

After 50k miles my Fox TS stabilizer still felt like new, so I didn't see any need to replace it during my recent front end overhaul.

@Headbarcode has provided great feedback with many miles utilizing. Based on your comment of adding mopar lift LCAs, I take you are not lifted. There’s a few recent threads discussing the ATS adding clearance concerns on non lifted JLs. Just another reason maybe not to utilize the ATS version.

I have the TS. When I put it in I felt a little bit of wobble over bumps with a set of 35’s. When I went to 37’s it felt worse. It was like an early onset death wobble kinda. Put the stock stabilizer back in and everything was perfect. Really weird. I got it second hand, so I’ve ordered all new bushings and am going to swap them out and give it a try again. Lift is the teraflex spacer with shock extenders and mopar lower front arms from their lift kit.

Getting it all dialed in was important for me. I had issues after lifting so having adjustability in components was a huge plus for me in isolating the problem.

I have the factory 1.5” lift.. Running 35s at 30 psi.

I am planning just to install it with the axle bracket in the stock location. Hope the bracket fits. I have seen some comments that it is a little off.

Oh okay. You have the XR ??. You should be fine, I had my ATS mounted in stock position for a bit before relocating. I have seen nothing but good reviews of 2.0TS.

Well it seems the 2.0 TS is unobtainium. Seem like the ATS is available since everyone has $450 burning a hole in their pocket. So ordered the ATS 983-02-148. Hopefully Be worth it. I will need to figure out how many clicks I need. I drive rough roads.

You're gonna want to relocate it from stock position if you do any sort of wheeling.
Synergy TB bolt can help out along with appropriate clamp is easy to do.

(FYI, JK ATS comes with correct size clamp)

Mine also has the aluminum oil pan, so gonna figure “protection“ out soon.
