Information screen black

[Movingday]

when I started up this morning my information screen (the one that is in front of steering wheel) was black. When I reached my destination, I turned off and back on the Jeep and it still did not come on. Is there any chance I turned something off in the settings? Anyone else had this issue and resolved it?

It may rather difficult if the concern is intermittent. However, if you decide you'd like to get this looked at by the dealer, let us know. We can get this over to a Case Manager who'll work with you and the dealer toward a potential solution.

I have had this same thing happen to mine. The wife has seen it a couple times and just the other night after my kids soccer game, the screen just went black. I hit the power button and turned off then back on and it worked. Contacted the dealer this morning.

Same thing happened to me 3-4 times. It hasn't happened to me recently, but will keep an eye out for it.

Thanks so much for reaching out. I really appreciate it. It looks like it has just done it the one time so I will keep an eye on it. If it happens again I will take it to my Jeepland dealer.

This morning I started my JL (only a few weeks old - 300mi) and the 7" center screen was black. No audio either. I pushed the power button and the warning screen came up then all went black again. I stopped and restarted - same thing. Finally I pushed the power button and when the warning screen came up (the one that shows the heated seats/steering wheel) I pushed accept (very quickly before it disappeared) - and everything sprang back to life. Very odd. Let's see what happens tonight when I go home from work. This is the type of thing I can virtually guarantee I would bring into the dealer and they would say "couldn't replicate" - so unless it becomes a regular or prolonged issue, I'm not going to waste my time.
