18 JL Uconnect Screen Black

Hi Everyone. My wife has a 2018 Unlimited JL with the 8" screen. A few weeks ago the Uconnect screen started to have static on the screen, continually got worse and now the screen is just black. When the screen was static, it would be normal when it was night time (ie the screen changed to night settings). Now the screen does light up but it is all black and you cant access anything via the touchscreen.
I have tried resetting the radio, checking the fuses, disconnected both batteries to let the system reset, made sure both are fully charged and pulled the radio. I cannot find anything wrong and am beginning to think it is something inside the radio.
Has anyone experienced anything like this and or have any remedies? If not, I was thinking of upgrading to the Stinger radio. My wife is dependent on the apple car play features.

Try pulling fuse F97.

Mash the "Screen Off" button a few times to make sure it's not stuck or doing something wonky. Don't know if there's a connector on the back of the button to possibly check as well.

Do you hear anything from the radio while the screen is black? If not then the mainboard has an issue. You can send the unit to us for diagnostics. We will figure out what is wrong and can repair it.
