What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Discovered just how much of a PAIN it is swapping out the aux battery...

The main battery wasn't so bad but that fuse box just doesn't want to cooperate, even though it should be a simple removal.

The diesel has a nice setup for the aux battery. Just remove the main battery and there is a panel below it held be 2 screws. The fuse box isn’t touched

If you like the look you can also consider wrapping or hydro dipping. That way you’ll get a consistent weave pattern.

Yeah I was looking at a wrap as a possible solution for the passenger dash plate…

Had the oil changed and drove by 4WP to see if they had entry guards. Honestly was surprised how little of anything they even had on hand. Ordered the Rugged Ridge ones off Amazon, along with another set of glow-when-blown fuses to fill out the box. I'm also toying with the idea of ordering this guy to have some switched power for light bar and other accessories.

I checked around in here but couldn't find anyone that had used this aftermarket switch panel. Any thoughts?

Installed my cavfab tire carrier and rear high clearance bumper.

its extremely easy. I used tthe add in wires when i added the rubicon axles to my sport. running both lockers on my knock off switch pro setup

What do you folks think of this? Vinyl sticker option. I think it looks pretty cool, especially with the little Jeep in the bottom of the second panel. Thoughts?

Installed the defroster 5/8" vent plugs from Amazon as it begins to snow in Mid TN yet again. Have some nice airlfow on the edges now and didn't even know it was a "problem" until I read it here. Thanks, forum.

I posted info at the link I gave above.

I tested..... With the Motorola MA1 connected, all USB ports still power down when I turn the ignition to off and lock the doors... just like when nothing is plugged into the USB port(s). No power means MA1 is turned off. 8-)

On my 2018 JL, all USB ports power down like clockwork after 60 min.....

Give ma a few days to live with the MA1 so to speak and I will post more in that thread..

So far, behavior of Android Auto .. my JL, it's USB ports... with MA1 installed, is the same as when using a USB cable to tether my Samsung S10 to USB/ to use tethered Android Auto..

Ok, good. I ordered it. I'll include it in the pics of my interior update once completed.
