They had discounted shipping, I didn't even know about the forum discount........
I can't recommend Asfir 4x4 enough, they responded to my inquiry when I asked if they had skids that fit a 4xe model as well as letting me know the progress of the order once it was placed.
The skid was packaged better than anything I can think of and everything was in order and fit up nicely. Looking forward to not worring about all the important bits under there anymore.

I’m really interested in hearing more about the Asfir system. Shipping to my door I can get the fuel tank skid, engine & gear skid, transfer case skid, and rear battery skid for <1200. It’s not a fully belly pan but covers a lot and is 1k less than the next options. Problem is I can find much in way or reviews especially with the 4xe and after use.

I’m still learning a lot about what I need to protect and what is overkill. So for my questions (open to anyone not just OP). I don’t plan on super difficult trails, but moderately hard trails will be probable.

1) what else you add or take away from those skids?
2) does this go over current fuel tank skid or do I get to remove saving weight?
3) stock install seems fine, what about a small lift 4” or less? (Thinking ahead to possible MC GC 2.5 or 3.5 meaning new drive shaft and all)

For my use the factory skids are fine and I won't replace them, the only thing I was concerned about was the oil pan, transmission, transmission cooler lines and a bunch of the high voltage lines for the hybrid system. So I added the one skid I needed. I would definitely recommend the ASFIR 4x4 gear. If their other products are as nice as mine I'm sure you'd be happy. They were very responsive to my inquires and kept me informed of status of order....and the shipping from Israel was very quick about 5 days from shipped to my door in Salt Lake City.

I actually looked at this system a while ago for my 4xe but there wasnt information if they fit or not. Glad to finally see one installed. How was the installation? Any issues/everything line up?

I took delivery of my 4xe in September and inquired if anything they had fit, they quickly responded that they were getting a 4xe to test fit/mock up for skids. They just released the 4xe skids.
Installation was easy even doing it alone. No issues and everything lined up and cleared everything. On the drive into work this morning I didn't hear any weird noises or anything rubbing/creaking. I'm very pleased. If I were to replace any of the OE skids I would definitely go with Asfir 4x4 again.

Thrilled to hear you're happy with the product you ordered!

In my opinion the 4xe is worth the wait.... hopefully it won't be too long.
it will be 6 months if i get delivery by end of this month. the wait is definitely painful

I'm guessing since I haven't changed the oil with the skid installed, but from how it looks I'd say similar difficulty to changing the oil without it installed.
