As much as everyone around here loves to bash Broncos, take a step back and examine the photos. There is no way the snow could accumulate like it did, especially under the hood, unless it was left open.
Snow behavior is a little different in Tuktoyaktuk than Houston. Dry blowing snow gets everywhere. As much as everyone around here loves to bash Broncos, take a step back and examine the photos. There is no way the snow could accumulate like it did, especially under the hood, unless it was left open.
By the looks of it, and the electric cord routed to the engine, he probably plugged in the engine heater, and left the hood up, the night before the snow storm.
As for the interior, I don't see any accumulation of snow on the side windows. This tells me he left them down. it looks like someone is either desperate for attention, wants Ford to buy it back, or is a complete idiot for leaving everything open.
Actually, the 2 doors are standard hard top. The soft top is a dealer installed option on 2 doors. The only reason I know tjis is that my neighbor got his a week ago.Safer to stick with a hardtop, that isn't available, that's recalled, that's not offered on the two-door. Yeah, there were a lot of Broncos ordered with a hardtop that had to be re-ordered with a soft top due to all the hardtop issues. Just better not to get a Bronco, maybe. Maybe it's the frameless doors.
Likewise!Well my my. Never felt better abt cancelling my badlands for my 392.
Clearly, you've never been in a blizzard. This is a picture of our (wife's mostly) PT Cruiser convertible (with frameless windows) AFTER warming it up, driving it about a mile, pulling into our garage, and sweeping off the snow. The grille isn't very large on the PT, the bay is very cramped, yet the snow was perfectly packed to the hood and around every single component--even in the back.As much as everyone around here loves to bash Broncos, take a step back and examine the photos. There is no way the snow could accumulate like it did, especially under the hood, unless it was left open.

Your (biased) impression is wrong. As much as everyone around here loves to bash Broncos, take a step back and examine the photos. There is no way the snow could accumulate like it did, especially under the hood, unless it was left open.
