Well, my birthday is on May 3rd. My Jeep dealer and Drillionaire a plant employee, both are telling me my 2dr. will be built on May 3rd. How cool is that! Time will tell, ho, ho,ho... if it is indeed built on my birthday.

You're lucky that they are agreeing. My dealer says 5-6 weeks, Dillionaire says tomorrow, Jeep chat says D1 no ETA and the order status hotline says it's made and on its way to another dealer who I didn't buy it from...

Yup, a real crap shoot... But if mine is actually built on my birthday as they both say... WOW, that will be something I can talk about. What would be the odds of that even happening.. Again, time will tell.

Drillionaire is bang on for me. Told me a week ago that I should pass the gateline today. He just confirmed that happened at 1:00 pm and I should be framed by midnight. The build could be complete tomorrow and no later than Wednesday.
As to confusion, dealer says I'm still in "D1" and the tracking spreadsheet on this site says that I remain in "D". I'm not worried since Drillionaire has been by far the most credible source of build status info.

I was just thinking of contacting Jeep chat to see if I’m out of D1 status yet, but I decided I’d just guess what status I’m in myself.

I agree he seems to be good. I have to admit the hotline telling me I was in kz and being shipping to a completely different dealer was a little off putting. I think she entered the wrong VIN. I'm going to call again tomorrow and see if I can get a better update. I think that's messing with me (and everyone else here) is the misinformation.
I need hard facts.

Yeah, I want a Drillionaire update, but I’m not joining Twitter or whatever. I’ll continue to wait but I hope they get their act together soon. 12/12 order with them cranking out the 4 door station wagons while ours continue to be vapor ware.

The two door ownership adventure ain't over yet!
I wonder if.. by any miracle.. some non customer orders could hit my dealer by this weekend? I'd really like to get some 2 door seat time (and check the frame). Haven't seen one, since the auto show in January didn't have any.
