There will definitely be someone. He just hasn’t found the forum yet.

When the time comes to do a cam swap I’m planning to drop a stroker kit in and go to a forged 7.0L 426 build then add a blower. That’s way after the warranty ends of course

Be careful, when the L79 in my CJ5 wore out I built a 700HP 6-71 blown 350 for it and ruined it. It was a nearly uncontrollable suicide machine. I was so disappointed that I sold it to a guy who wanted the motor for his 30’s rod?

I figure I won’t be doing that until 2025-2030 and by then it’ll be regulated to a play vehicle. But 0-60 in under 4 seconds on 40s is too comical to pass up, regardless of the price or impracticality, especially in a time when soulless EV’s will no doubt be shoved down consumers throats. Long live the V8!

Would you be surprised if I mention that it was sold with a blown rear end? You will need D60’s

They did that on Roadkill Garage. They named it the BJ5 - blown jeep. They also blew up the rear end.

Rear end shop recommend a cut down 9in. Ford because they are smaller than D60’s but very stout. But what was next, the entire drive train wasn’t designed for anywhere near that power even though it was built as stout as possible for the L79.

Serious question, anyone know what cam comes in the 392? I’m assuming it’s the same as the Charger/Challenger Scat Pack? These things respond very well to a cam, but most performance cams bump the power/RPM range up and lose low end torque down low.
