Thats alot of weight to move with such a small engine with and no trq. I bet once you get moving you would be ok...

If you go with the new 37” BFG KO2’s they weigh the same as their 35” at only 64.5lbs so you would be fine. This is the lightest 37” tire out there even lighter then most 35” tires. There is a couple of threads on the forum about these, just search. With all the torque you have from your turbo motor personally if you went with these tires I would not regear!

No torque, or 30 ftlbs more than the V6 according to Jeep and that is conservative. On most head to head dyno comparisons it’s more like 65 more ftlbs.

Yea over all it does, but low down when your going from a stop. Thats why I said once your moving its ok. The turbo needs to be spooled before it works.
was about to say the same.

I can forgive a jeep guy for not knowing this though.

What fraction of a second do you think it takes to ”spool up“ to 2k rpms from a stop? The second you put your foot on the gas, the 2.0t is making more torque than the v6. Stock gearing our JLUR on 37’s does 0-60 in 6.5s. That little engine has no problem getting big tires moving and hasn’t had an issue doing so for 30k miles, about 3k of which have been off road. If you want to idle around and hypermile your take offs, the results will be disappointing. Put your foot in it and it pulls harder and is more fun than the V6 is on stock tires in my experience.

I chose the diesel as I like to idle or just of idle wheel. I dont like to spin up the engine unless I have to. I have my race car that like the rpms. I just have experience where high rpm means floating valves and a rebuild in no time. But alas these new motors prob like to spin.

That 2.0 fiat engine couldnt move a motorcycle. Specially the "Rubicon 2.0"

?
Of course if you want to make the V6 guys really feel bad, throw a JB4 on it and turn the boost up. That little fiat engine is putting out more torque to the wheels than the diesel or even the 392.

The V6 is much higher revving than the 2.0t, I’d hardly call 2k rpms having to spin up the engine. The v6 doesn’t make 200 hp to the wheels until 5800rpm, the 2.0t hits that level at 4k. Of course the diesel makes more power down low, it is a diesel. The diesel wasn’t available when we bought ours, or I may have gone that route.

Even on my gas motors I normally shift around 2800 rpm for daily driving. I agree 2k isnt spinning an engine very hard. I just dont like having to stab the gas to get moving on a daily Im an old man driver these days I like my mpgs lol

I have had 37s on my 2.0T Sport -stock gears. As long as your recalibrate the tires you're gonna be in good shape. Avg 20 mpg city/highway. The Etorque does a great job of mitigating any issues off the line (etorque come on before 1.5k rpms) and the turbo hits max boots at 3k rpms. The only thing I think I would notice is bigger breaks, but the stock breaks are fine - and I'll upgrade when these need replacing.

These measure in at approx 37" and about 100lbs each they're heavy, but with the Mopar lift I got about 2.5 inches and a major upgrade to center of gravity feel, and ride quality. Depending on the time of year I run them at 32-37 PSI fully warmed up. That can change the ride quality substantially and also affect MPG.

There really not much more to say. These forums helped me decide my upgrade route over the course of 2 years and I gotta say it was so crucial in going with this setup.
