I got my build sheet on 4/19, been in JB for a week, no paint on top/fenders, no leather, did order dual tops. Houston is there a problem? if anyone's on speed dial with the MAN, my Vin's 209745

I don't know who to believe anymore. My Chapman order has been stuck due to leather restriction. Jim Marsh says there isn't a leather restriction but then proceeded to tell me about the transportation issue.

I asked Sergio about a leather restriction and he said there isn’t a restriction. He said they may have a shortage, so that means instead of installing leather in 200 builds, they’ll do 150 instead.

I asked Sergio about a leather restriction and he said there isn’t a restriction. He said they may have a shortage, so that means instead of installing leather in 200 builds, they’ll do 150 instead.

I blame the Chick-fil-A cows for the leather shortage. Cow sympathy is at an all-time high, thanks to those guys.

New guy here, but been following this great thread for a long while now. I have all my info to Kim at Superior Jeep; credit card, build list and everything. She hasn't been able to plug in the order due to my desire for a painted top....you more learned folks have any scoop on when those tops will be available?

All I know is that it’s an issue getting the color to match on the tops. They’re working on it. I haven’t followed it more closely than that since I ordered black top.

Welcome to the Club! I have a black top as well so I have not followed the painted issue closely.

I have a painted top on order. From all I have heard you may be able to order after May 7th. I'm just guessing because that's when they are supposed to be building them. It's possible they open up orders then.

They did. There was a small window around 4/2 and again when I ordered. I just kept hounding my dealer to keep trying.

All I know is I’m in transit. I’m within truck zone though, so I’m not gonna worry unless a couple of weeks go by without news.

Serge told me mine went to KZ status on 4-20, and that it should be otw. Sounded like once it leaves the factory, he doesn't get much info on it.
