From the pictures we're all 99% sure the knuckle is iron. Can you stick a magnet on it and lay the question to rest? The diagonal arrow is pointing at the knuckle. If a magnet sticks to it we will all rejoice.

Rust is iron oxidation, both arrows are rust on the knuckle. It’s iron or an iron alloy.

It’s an option. You’ll have get the leather trimmed seats with the black/dark saddle interior colors

im very impressed. Just took it about 30 miles on the interstate going 70. Mpg was good and felt not far off from my silverado i was expecting more correction and wandering but it drove smooth and straight
