I know all too well - I know the former ops and design guys from Shrockworks, which is why I got this. One of the best bumpers on the market in my opinion.
I will get a shipping quote for you tomorrow and PM you.
Selling a set of Gladiator Mojave shocks. I cycled my JL suspension and measured to ensure these would work with my XR package JL and they were just about perfect. Would be good for something from 1-3.5" of lift. These will require some work for the rear shocks as a sleeve needs to be made...
Brand new Shrockworks JL/JT front bumper. Slid on framerails to test fit and never got to install before my Jeep was totalled. Comes with all necessary parts - winch mount plate, skid, fog light mounts and brackets (for stock fogs and aftermarket - both options included) and all hardware...
Change of plans again - totalled. Had frame scanned and it is not in spec. 😡😡😡
Gonna buy my wife a new car and wait for prices to come down to earth on Jeeps then get another

Turn of events, now they are likely just replacing that front 18” of the frame that can easily be replaced. Tomorrow the frame gets 3D scanned to ensure the rest is in spec then it’ll get repaired.
The girl that ran the stop sign had the minimum insurance in Texas so it only covers $25k in...
With a baby on the way for me that’s not an option as I just have too much going on. Going to start fighting for a rental car for 8 weeks to order another.

So it’s official - I now hate Farmers. Despite the quote coming in well under the $35-37k they told me to total it out - they said their policy is not to replace frame therefore they are going to total it out 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Dealer said frame replacement is likely, book time is 43 hrs so it’s well within the $35-37k number so looks like it’s fixable. Will know more tomorrow or Friday.
More pics. Confirmed it is just that front section of frame that is bent where it locks into main part of frame, rest all looks great. Front LCA is also buckled, so my only fear there is t-case and driveshaft. But still to get to $48-50k I think we are good.
Apparently Jeep has planned for this and actually built a way to fix it at a reasonable cost. The end of the framerail is 100% replaceable - this is a part straight from their catalog - PN 68383650AA - found this morning and realized its pretty cool how they do that! Will know more when it...
Haha, if only the payout was enough to pay for that. Love the GenRight stuff. Shop I used to work at did a few of the Elite JK setups and they were pretty damn awesome.
I only went to dealer as the body experts I know with independent shops sent me there as they don’t have frame machines and they had incredible things to say about this particular dealer. Asked on our local Jeep FB group and got tons of opinions and info before making my decision. It’s not an...
I would much rather it be fixed for the record, I love this Jeep and finding another like it would be hard on short notice (I ordered this one just how I wanted it). Seeing as how it’s value per KBB is still $48-50k I sure hope it can be fixed properly. It’s going to the best dealer in town...
Right past the grill it’s fine and looks that way all the way back. They are bent to passenger side since she was moving across my front as I hit her. I used to work at an off road shop so seen enough frames to know them pretty well - so I feel pretty confident in that assessment.
