I am now 100% confident that ocean blue is the most attractive color available for the JL. It is absolutely gorgeous. I have to admit, I was worried about spending so much on a vehicle I had never seen.

What I find interesting is that you ordered on 3/1 and went into D1 status on 4/6, almost a month later. I ordered on 3/30 and went into D1 status on 4/6 as well(all blue rubi). I wonder how long I'll sit in D1 status?

I ordered 3-30 and went D1 on 4-16

Ordered 2/12 and went KZ on 4/22 should land at the dealer between 5/15 and 5/25! Almost there!!

Is your build status still D1?

I don’t think so, but Jeep chat also said they changed their policy and no longer give status letters. But their generic blanket statement changed from “all parts required to start the build process have been gathered and should enter the build phase soon” to the build is almost complete and should be ready for shipping in the next day or two.

I do not put much weight in what Jeep Chat says... they told me mine was in the process of shipping and it would be at the dealer in a couple of days.... that was March 15th.

Dealer called yesterday to tell me my Jeep is on a transport truck from the plant. Being 80 miles, will I get it this week? I am ready to go. I have to go to Ferris State this weekend for a board meeting, would be a great opening trip.

My dealer just told me it’s in transit and put up the sticcer and in transit on there website.

I finally have a good update. My order is now in F. This apparently was after I was in D1 hell for 45 days.

3/2/18 ordered received VON
3/12/18 Received VIN and in D1
4/5/18, 4/18/18 flip-flopped between D-D1-D-D1

Apparently calling the listed number and talking to a human being can help. I'm not surprised, I'm not sure my call had any bearing, but it sounded rather complicated before a human looked at it to escalate it.

Just ordered ocean blue on saturday. Early est is 8-12 weeks with it possibly taking longer. Only upgrades inordered was the auto trans and the premium soft top.

Moved to D1 Status but Jeep chat couldnt give me an ETA on delivery, so i contacted my dealer rep. I will post when i have an eta. Side note an Ocean Blue JLUR arrived in Temecula, CA it was an ordered one!! Congrats to whoever got that one!!
