My Datsun 280Z was a classified a 2+2 because it had a back seat.Show me a sedan that says "4 door" on it SMH.
Oh that's just heinous. WTH jeep. Gecko is such a rare color with a huge following... rip that horrible eye sore red dash and paint that baby Gecko like it deserves!I was really hoping my Gecko would have the silver dash, unfortunately not... It's just too much red. I would've done the tan interior to get the silver dash and lighter stitching but I think the tan leather wouldve been worse.
That’s looking real nice! This looks exactly like that Gladiator leather trim I mentioned earlier. Looks better than painted black IMO.I like this dash which was in a sahara.
No I meant the "unlimited" badge on the Jeep is dumb... cars dont badge "4 door" so why does jeep think I want to remove "unlimited" from every jlu jeep? They prob thought it was all cute and a play on words "unlimited" but it just means 4 door and it just is a 2 minute hassle to trash. My Datsun 280Z was a classified a 2+2 because it had a back seat.
They could call the Unlimited a 2+2 because it has 4 doors?
Definitely a heck of a lot easier than painting!I agree... i love this dash... maybe i should just buy a sahara dash and sharpie the wrong color thread....
They make a black with red stitching if that’s what you are thinking.I agree... i love this dash... maybe i should just buy a sahara dash and sharpie the wrong color thread....
Yep. My 1974 260Z had the "2+2" medallion on the decklid. 'Twas the first year for the four seat option, and the final year for carburetion. But for the Rust Demon taking its bill of fare, I'd still have that car.My Datsun 280Z was a classified a 2+2 because it had a back seat.
No. Just two seat belts were installed, and there wasn't any pretense about the center hump being habitable.2+3 would be more like it since it technically seats 3 in the back.
Your post quoted a reference to a Z car, so it seemed clear that's what you were replying to.I meant 2+3 for a 4 door Jeep.
Those 2+2 Z cars were pretty tight. And have you ever seen the back seats in an older Porsche? What was the point?
This is what I am getting. They make a black with red stitching if that’s what you are thinking.

Yeah I like that, That's what ive been thinking about changing mine to, I'd do the one with the red stitching just to match the rest of the Jeep's stitching, I think it was on the Gladiator. Id also probably do the dash topper to match since mine is the plastic that comes with the cloth seats.I like this dash which was in a sahara.
