K9 Officer stops you... IF his K9 alerts to your vehicle.... well, he will ask to search your vehicle and the game is on from there.....

You still refuse the search, when they search anyway short of finding a distribution quantity of drugs it will get thrown out in court…or so I hear.

Ummmm, this is not totally correct. Depends on what agency and what state you live in. Readers should not take this as factual!

Never consent was my point. Warrantless searches, or even warrant searches that find non-listed evidence can be argued in court. Consent searches might as well be a guilty plea.

As per a youtube lawyer, about 40% of all traffic stop K9 alerts are false positives. But yet it gives the LEO probable cause.
