Matthew brought his JLU to us from California, with a list of functional upgrades that would add additional storage plus help him get the most from his suspension.
We started with a Rock Krawler Suspension 3.5" Ultimate Adventure System with all 8 adjustable RK control arms paired with 2.5 Performance Series Adjustable front and rear King Shocks. A set of front adjustable King Shocks black series bump stops were also added, as well as rear King weld-in adjustable bump stops. Our Doetsch Off-Road 2.5 Ton 7075 Aluminum tie rod and drag link were custom powdercoated black, to replace the factory steering setup.
Next, a American Adventure Lab M.A.S.S. Cargo Management System was installed in the rear cargo area of the Jeep, with custom red and black powdercoat. This system is super flexible in regards to how you can configure it, plus as AAL adds new options, they are backwards compatible to mount on this existing system. Plus it is all 100% Made in the USA!
Moving on to the outside of the Jeep, we color matched in Bikini, a set of front and rear Stealth Series fender flares from Road Armor Bumpers, along with their inner liners in black powdercoat with Bikini colored accents!

That’s a legit build. Looks like it tastes like a Blue Raspberry lollipop, but legit nonetheless.

Well, I guess you won’t like mine then…. 😏
Can't say that I do , the wheels are ok but the door hinges, handles and mirror caps don't even match the red wheels really and are a bit too much IMO.....but in the end, all that matters is that YOU like it. :like::jk:

I actually agree it's a bit much, and I need to see if I can get hinge/door covers that match the weels once these fade (the Texas UV rays really hate colored plastic, and the plastic covers came well before the wheels, which took FOREVER to get). But I like the way the red pops so well with this color. It was unexpected, but once I painted the front grille red, I knew it was right.

My 2 cents (worth less than 1 cent) is that less is more especially in this case. The hinges and door handles (also mirror caps) makes it look like an Autozone mod done by an 18 year old kid on his Honda Civic where as the rest of your Rubicon is a beauty. If you are a little uncertain then maybe put up a poll to see what other members think or have to say. Your choice.

that’s fair feedback, although I would keep the mirror mods (I did that myself, like my grille). I will definitely consider your suggestions!

Nice build but seriously, that much coin spent and the factory SS was left as the low hanging fruit. smh.
