I went and looked at my order sheet(mine doesn't list the tire) and then went to Jeep.com and specs for the Rubicon has the BSW tires as standard and the OWL tires as an option?
Yes it looks like they added it as an option. But when I looked at the detail it showed BFG tires for the OWL option so I thought that was correct. I like the look of all black so hopefully they can change it back to BSW.

Powder coating is a different process and produces a different finish. It definitely has its place and is good, but not to match this paint system
DTM epoxy primer, Base color coat, clear poly, buff and thin clear poly finish. To be specific. Acid etch wash and aladine for aluminum prep coat for the hood and doors (aluminum). But cheesy body shop and many DYI folks cut corners and of course you get what put into the work. Maybe you should tell him how it should be done. Clearly your the expert.It is actually a two stage color, not a three stage. It's your normal base coat/clear coat color. All top tier paint systems should have the formula in their systems. Hope this clears that up.

Yep...takes me back. I use to work with my dad at a GM plant...I put throttle-bodies together...he worked the aluminum foundry.
