Ok, so my buddy re-geared my Jeep with the 4.56 rings/pinions and he said the installation went well and it drives great. Check.
BUT....it threw a code involving the ABS sensor. He put a scanner on it and it told him it was one (I think the right front) ABS sensor was bad.
So I walked him through (over the phone) re-marying the Tazer JL (I had it unmarried for the YO7 recall and did not reinstall it before taking it to him, as I had no time.) We re-set the tire size (34.87) and set the axle ratio to 4.56. He cleared the code and drove it and it threw it again.
Has anyone else experienced this? He thinks he may have inadvertently damaged the ABS sensor, even though it doesn't show any marks. He doesn't remember hitting it, but says this can happen easily as they are very sensitive.
@chevymitchell has this come up for you with JL gear swaps? Anyone else?
