Not sure whats happening. Was told I was D1 with a "ship date" of 4/20 by my dealer. Jeep chat confirmed it at the time. Just chatted again to check progress and I was told D status wording, and when questioned the rep confirmed D status. I asked why the backwards progress and was told: "These vehicles from my knowledge have been pushed to 04/30/2018 and we will see these vehicles being produced by May14th. Parts are very limited. We appreciate your patience with us as we launch this exciting product. It has taken extra time to start the second phase of production. Quality is extremely important to us and the plant is taking extra time to insure the product delivered to our customers meets our quality standards."

2-Door loaded Red Rubi w/Hard top, except proximity and safety. Ordered 12/15/17

I feel for those of you in KZ and are just waiting... mine is at my local DC and I am being told that deliveries from that last distribution center to the dealership are 'very unpredictable' (the dealer's words) even with a priority on them. I don't know what is worse having your Jeep sitting somewhere in Ohio not knowing when it will move or having it sit 40 miles away not knowing when someone will put it on a truck for that last leg.

Sort of wish they hadn't said it may be here tomorrow and I wish I had been more pessimistic and hadn't taken the day off or secured my financing.

Should the window sticker be blank in the "ship to" and "sold to" fields? Mine has been in KZ status for almost a month now, but those two fields are still blank on my window sticker. I'd like to see either my name or the dealer's name in either of those slots!

Latest tracking on my Jeep is it went "gate out" of Alorton yesterday at 12:17 pm. I have no idea where it is headed, but at least I have movement. It was there for 15 days.

Can anyone explain the reference to "VIN Assignment by MFG" on the spreadsheet? At least in my case, the VIN was issued the day after I ordered. Now in KZ, what exactly needs to be done with the VIN?

It’s just a internal thing. It doesn’t make much sense.

Anyone out there "know a guy a who knows a guy," who with the proper application of a bribe might speed things up?! I'm from New York, so I know that any problem can be solved with the proper application of a tip or bribe......

Wow, just ridiculous. Jeep makes it within 40 miles and the distribution center is saying it could take a couple weeks even with a priority on the transfer. There goes the excitement.
