Received a call today from FCA rep in Michigan. He kept saying it's a new product launch.... it's a new product launch.... When I asked about color matching problems he wouldn't comment only kept saying "when all parts for your build are available, the build will be scheduled" 10-12 weeks.... He also said he saw no problem with part availability on my order. So why no VIN?

"it's a new product launch......."

So I feel really good, and confused.

I’ll be right beside you. Color matching top hell

I went premium soft top- no hard top. I’ve had 4 wranglers and I either don’t switch tops in summer because it is a hassle or don’t have room to store hard top in garage. So this time it is soft top all the way. We will see how that works for us in winter but Jeep heat rocks and I have heard the new tops are awesome.

15000 out from body shop yay! So how long normally does it take to go from going in the body shop to shipping out?

Mine went from body shop to paint to shop in about a day

Got my build sheet! Things are still progressing. Waiting to get my window sticker and see it get loaded on a train.

Where can you get window sticker? I have been shipped so I should be able to see it somewhere

That’s my concern. Him being hounded by more people than he expected.

He has been a trooper. He gave me updates every step of the way and even confirmed that I had shipped 24 hours before my dealership

Painted flares and Trail Rail have been big red flags in past and not sure Jeep has worked all issues through but Serge would know.

I asked Sergio about the painted fenders and he doesn’t feel that’s an issue. What I’ve read is the trail rail may be a delay.

My Sting Gray JLUR is finally in transit listed on my dealers site. Sales rep texted me last night and said I was in F (paint) status yesterday. Checked the tracker today and i went to KZ early this morning. Things seem to be moving along quick this last week. The wait is almost over my friends. Cheers!

My specs for those curious: SG, Rubicon, Auto, Towing, Cold Weather, LED, Infotainment, Soft-top, Steel Bumpers, Remote Proximity, Body Color Fenders

The race is on - mine is in transit too. Dealership confirmed an estimated arrival of between 5-1 and 5-10. Fingers Crossed!

Ok just ordered my Rubicon in stingray......now we wait 2 Mos.

If mine comes when the dealership and Jeep projects (and if Serge is correct that I have been shipped) then mine will have taken 6 weeks from order to delivery. Lots of “ifs.”

Got a reply back from Sergio. My white Sahara has a gate number and is 1500 out from the body shop. So it will be framed within a day or two. The Sahara has all options except smokers group and Hardtop.

My Sting gray Rubicon hasn't been given a gateline number quite yet. (Sniff Sniff). My Rubi has all options except hardtop, smokers group, and no trail rail because it was not available when I ordered.

Both were ordered on 4/9/2018. I was hoping they would arrive together from the dealer, but it does not look like that will happen.

Wow. Basically the worst customer service ever. Their website asked me to take a survey yesterday, so I unloaded about how they're alienating their most loyal base (the custom orderer) by keeping us in the dark and even lying.

Do they think we can't find each other and talk to each other on the internet? Ridiculous.
