I work in a manufacturing facility that's operated mostly by robots and runs 24x7. It's that clean all the time. This picture to my eye, looks completely plausible .
This means you are a robot mining our information for Facebook! zomg!

Hmm... from reddit:

JL 2 door build began today!
This just in... Reddit OP replied to my PM. Looks like May is correct for premium soft top. OK by me - I’m happy for the light at the end of the tunnel!

Does that mean the guys who bought hard tops won’t be getting their Jeeps for a while either if they have to do testing on the hard tops as well? You would of thought that would of been ironed out before the manufacturing process.

It's pretty standard for car manufacturers to hold at least the first two weeks' production of a new model on the factory lot to check for, and if necessary, resolve systemic quality issues. I think there's a high probability of that happening with the initial 2dr production.

I think I am gonna wait for next year or get another vehicle. At this stage in the game figuring out way to not leak is way out of scope

With the updated schedule posted today from FCA, the 2019’s are to be available to order in September and start being built end of October. With the 2018’s stopping orders in July and production in October. So if this plays out, it is going to be an extremely short run of 2-doors for 2018, 6-7 months, and in 7-8 months you could have a 2019.

Ya, wait is killing me though. But it looks pretty clear these early units are gonna be rewelded up frames and wind noise from misalignment, unless you get lucky.

I don't think it's quiiite that bad, and I consider myself one of the most non-biased people here. I'm still planning on a May order myself. It does seem like they did something about the frame issues.

I just wanna enjoy a summer convertible. Having to lose a topless summer in my 20s carries some kind of weight.

What makes you think next year will be any different? All of a sudden they’ll be efficient?
Btw, can anyone tell me wait time for delivery for previous years? Is this just hhe new model release, or is it MO for jeep?

I ordered a Rubicon hard rock in 2016, from order date to delivery was 3 weeks. This is is just issues from new model is all. It will get better as time goes on.
